Today we go to see the 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro, which is the latest true wireless headphones that the company has unveiled. There are three types of ComfoBuds: the True Wireless, True Wireless In-Ear and Pro True Wireless. We will see the latest.

Design and construction
Similar to the standard ComfoBuds but unlike the In-Ear, these 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro come with a cigarette design. However, the splint is not cylindrical but slightly pointed. This ultimately guarantees a lower weight than the standard, as well as a slightly sportier design. As the name suggests, the headphone's workhorse is ergonomics. From the first moment I put them on I knew they were really well built headphones.
Unlike my previous Stylish True Wireless headphones, these headphones they don't even slip when I run at high speed. The shape adheres perfectly to the pavilion. A point in their favor is undoubtedly the weight: alone 5.2 g (To poco lower than the AirPods Pro) therefore below many competitors in the same quality range.
The 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro are based on the touch controls though the volume control is missing. Perhaps this is also due to the characteristic design that creates a cone: there would be no room for other material. In any case, the controls are all listed in the companion application 1MORE MUSIC.
A parenthesis, before starting to use them, we recommend doing the running in the headphones (also called burn-in) with the company's application 1MORE Assistant. For those unfamiliar with the system, as a good audiophile it is always necessary to proceed with a break-in. The company offers a dedicated application: this provides a period of 12 hours (you can pause) in which a series of tests are carried out on the earphones. If you don't want to download an app, it's in the Settings a dedicated option.
Closed the parenthesis, let's talk about touch controls. Calls and music can be controlled by touching the in-ear earphone area. There is no single tap, but i controls involve two or three taps. The interesting thing is that within the 1MORE MUSIC app we can configure the commands as we want: we can choose whether to configure the two or three touches for the voice control or to put in break the music. In the latter case, it is also possible to remove a headset and the music will pause: the headphones are equipped with a sensor that recognizes whether we are wearing the headphones or not.
There is also another option dedicated to changing the ANC mode, but we see it in the next paragraph. The only one neo that I found is the response to feedback: from the moment of the touch to the actual command, a second voucher passes. I don't think it depends on the smartphone, but on the headphones. Probably a Bluetooth 5.2 would have solved the problem.
As anticipated, the 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro feature 4 different types of Active Noise Reduction. It is possible to switch between them with a long tap on one of the headphones. Specifically, we find the methods:
- ANC-Strong: suitable for plane, train, metro and all those ultra-crowded places
- ANC-Mite: Suitable for noisy daily circumstances such as a shop, street poco crowded
- WNR: Wind Nois Reduction mode as the name suggests helps to attenuate wind noise while listening to music
- Pass-through: This mode lets ambient sounds through so you don't have to remove the headphones
For more information on 1MORE noise reduction, we recommend that you read the dedicated page of QuietMax.
Autonomy 1MORE ComfoBuds Pro
The company declares 6 hours with ANC on and 8 hours with ANC off: he does not lie. Indeed, I even reached 8 hours of use with ANC on and this did not please me. During the time I used the headphones, I only charged the box twice. Autonomy is slightly greater than that of the AirPods Pro and on par with that of headphones with ANC with higher cost.
