UPDATE STATUS WITH A VOICE
I personally don't like voice messages, especially those 10 minutes long as the famous song by The Giornalisti mentioned. But if you love voice messages, maybe you don't know that on WhatsApp you can also use them for STATUS UPDATES. To do so, just tap on the UPDATES section, which appears at the bottom next to the entries, Chat, Community and Calls. Now, once inside the Updates section, just click on the icon with the pencil symbol and in the screen that appears you will have to choose the VOICE option. Now press on the green microphone icon to start recording. But guys, at least in this circumstance, be brief!!!
VOWELS? PAST STUFF…BETTER VIDEO NOTES
In addition to text and audio messages, you can amaze your WhatsApp contacts by sending video notes and to do so, just open a chat and press and hold the camera icon, the one you use to send photos. Now a new screen will appear, with a circle in the center with the frame inside and the recording time advance timer at the top. After capturing the video, just release the icon you pressed previously to send the video, but if what you want to send as a video note is quite long and you don't want to keep your finger busy for too long, just swipe up to enable the lock, to start recording. In the video note, you can switch from the front to the rear camera and vice versa, but also end the recording before sending it to check that there are no errors or blunders. In this case, however, to send the video you will have to tap the green arrow icon.
CUSTOMIZE CHAT GRAPHICS
Making a chat more attractive from a graphic point of view, as trivial as it may seem, is a novelty introduced by WhatsApp only recently. We can decide whether to modify a single chat or all of them. In the first case, to proceed with the modification, you will have to enter the chat and then click on the 3 dots in the top left and then select the CHAT THEME item from the menu that appears. From this section you can draw on predefined times that will change the background and color of the chat bubbles, or you can decide the color of the bubbles and the background that you want to apply to the chat. For each modification, a preview is offered to verify that the result is to your liking, offering the vision even with the dark theme of smartphones if enabled. Once you have obtained the desired result, you can confirm with the check mark in the top left. If instead you want to apply the changes to all chats, just enter the WhatsApp settings, choose the CHAT item and then DEFAULT CHAT THEME, then continue with what has just been illustrated.
CREATE SURVEYS
Often getting more people to agree is really unnerving, everyone wants to have their say and even a trivial choice, like what to eat in the evening, whether pizza, hamburger or Chinese, becomes a frustration. To put an end to this, within WhatsApp there is a convenient feature that allows you to create surveys in simple steps. To create one, you have to go inside the chat or group, then click on the paperclip icon and from the menu that appears we choose the SURVEY item. At this point you can write the question to ask users in the QUESTION field, while in the options fields you can write the preferences to choose from. Basically you have two fields but you can add others. By default the survey allows multiple answers, but if we want to limit the answer to a single choice, you can disable the option by unchecking ALLOW MULTIPLE ANSWERS. Once the survey is completed, you just have to send it by pressing on the green arrow icon.
