We receive many messages, both in groups and private chats with friends, relatives or clients and therefore we could get confused and perhaps miss the only message we were waiting for. It would be convenient to have the conversation that interests us in the foreground, for example our love, and of course WhatsApp offers this opportunity. So to have a chat in the foreground you just have to select it and from the symbols at the top that will appear, there is one with a pin symbol. By clicking on it, the selected chat will automatically appear at the top of all the others, but if you have Android you can add a link to a chat directly on the home of your phone. Maybe you don't know that WhatsApp is not just messages but for some time now it has been enriched with CHANNELS, spaces dedicated to news and updates from companies, institutions, influencers etc. A space where it is not possible to interact with comments but where you can find useful information based on the topic of your interest, such as cinema, sports, technology etc. To find a channel that reflects your interests, you must access the UPDATES section in the bottom bar and then select the EXPLORE item to view all the available channels, which you will find divided into categories or you can search for one by name. Once you have identified the one that interests you, press the SUBSCRIBE button to start receiving its contents. All new "news" will be visible in the UPDATES section.
TRANSCRIBING VOICE MESSAGES
I would like to point out that this feature is not available to everyone and is limited for some, but you just have to be patient for it to reach everyone. WhatsApp has recently introduced the ability to transcribe voice messages, thus converting audio into text, making it easier to read messages in situations where it is not possible to listen to the audio. To enable this feature, you must go to the SETTINGS of the app and select the CHAT item and then tick the TRANSCRIPTION OF VOICE MESSAGES option. You will have to choose the reference language, hoping that you have received the update for Italian. To proceed with the transcription of the voice message, hold down on it and from the 3 dots at the top choose the TRANSCRIBE menu item. In a few seconds the transcribed text will appear, under the audio message. The transcription may not work properly in the presence of background noise, but we are only at the beginning, so wait for any updates that will bring additional languages and precision to the function.
TRANSFORM EMOJIS INTO STICKERS
This feature is also not available to everyone, in fact in all honesty it should only be available to iOS users. We are talking about the possibility introduced by WhatsApp to transform emojis into personalized stickers, enriching them with drawings and texts, obtaining creative and original conversations. To obtain this magic, you will need to start a chat and tap the emoji icon to access the library. Now select the emoji you want to transform, drag it onto the screen and select the EDIT item. An editor will open that will allow you to customize the emoji, inserting texts and drawings or other graphic elements. Once you have completed the customization, you can send the emoji transformed into a sticker by clicking on the Send button.
