September marked a turning point in the ranking of the most powerful smartphones thanks to the debut of the new version of the AnTuTu V11 benchmark, which introduced a completely revamped rating system. The data collected between September 1 and 30, 2025 in China clearly shows the impact of the new SoCs from Qualcomm and MediaTek, with the series Xiaomi 17 which imposes itself as the absolute protagonist.
Here is the ranking of the most powerful smartphones and tablets of the last month (AnTuTu)

At the top of the list is the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, equipped with the brand new Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition Gen5, which scored an average of 3.507.568 points. In addition to the chip's power, the device stands out for its innovative design, particularly the second rear display, which was initially controversial but has since been widely appreciated by users.
Close behind is the Xiaomi 17 Pro, also equipped with the same SoC, with an average score of 3.503.549 points. Performance is virtually identical to the Max model, making it an ideal choice for those seeking power in a more compact package.
The podium closes with Xiaomi 17, with 3.492.556 points, which despite giving up the second display maintains a high level of performance. It is the only model in the series to retain the design of the previous generation Xiaomi 15, which may be more familiar to some users.

In the sub-flagship segment, the ranking is dominated by the Dimensity 8400 and 8450 chips. In first place is the REDMI Turbo 4, with 1.873.527 points, followed by the iQOO Z10 Turbo (1.570.289 points) and OPPO Reno14 Pro (1.524.985 points). These devices offer an excellent compromise between performance and price, pending the arrival of the new Dimensity 9500 and next-generation sub-flagship Snapdragon.

The Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition also takes center stage in the tablet segment. Topping the list is the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, with 3.226.789 points, followed by the Savior Tablet Y700 4th Gen (3.151.948 points). In third place is the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, with 3.052.316 points, the first Xiaomi tablet to launch with HyperOS 3 preinstalled.
These results confirm that, at least for now, Android tablets continue to rely on previous-generation chips, pending the wider adoption of the new Dimensity 9500 and Snapdragon Gen5.
