Xiaomi took a liking to us and so to everyone's surprise came the announcement via the Weibo social profile, about the launch of a new smartwatch. In reality, the leaks in this regard inform us that it will not be a real novelty but rather an improved version of the Xiaomi Mi Watch Color, which will introduce among the functions the now much requested possibility of monitoring the blood oxygenation value, or the SpO2 value.
The appointment with the Xiaomi wearable is set for tomorrow 20 October, and the name of the wearable should be Mi Watch Color Sport Edition, expanding the functions related to monitoring health data and probably also introducing other sports activities in the park of sports already currently available.

And the teaser published shows a Mi Watch Color that maintains the round shapes of the dial, giving an elegant and sporty line at the same time, which should be emphasized by the release of sports straps, designed specifically for this new sportwatch. From the teaaser it is also possible to see two physical buttons, positioned on the right side of the case, one of which with evident sporting functionality. In fact, we clearly read the word SPORT in correspondence with the lower physical button.
Apart from these small details on the new Mi Watch Color Sport Edition, Xiaomi has not revealed anything else, so we should wait until tomorrow to find out if further news or not have been implemented. In the meantime, we remind you that this wearable was launched in the standard variant, also in Italy with a sales debut scheduled for December. Who knows that the company does not take the opportunity to present the new model to us, in order to create a range of wearables that is even more attractive to Italian users.
