
OPPO has presented its first Turbo series smartphones in China: OPPO K13 Turbo and OPPO K13 Turbo Pro, two devices designed to offer high performance, active cooling, and record-breaking battery life, all in a modern and aggressive design. With this new line, the brand aims to conquer the mid-range gaming and power-user segment, offering technical solutions rarely seen in this category.

Both models share many features, starting from the 6,8-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1280 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling. The screen is protected by the OPPO Crystal Shield glass, designed to resist bumps and scratches, and offers a peak brightness of 1.600 nits, ideal even in outdoor environments. The design is flat, with thin bezels and a central plastic frame, combined with a glass back available in different colors: First Purple, Black Samurai, Knight White for the Turbo and Knight Silver for the Pro.
The real news is the active cooling system, Which includes a 18.000 RPM internal fan with RGB lightinga whirlpool bath, 7.000 mm² VC plate and graphite gel, designed to keep temperatures under control even during prolonged gaming sessions. The Pro model also integrates a external magnetic clip with liquid cooling, for even higher thermal efficiency.

On the performance front, the The K13 Turbo is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, while the K13 Turbo Pro features the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4., combined with Up to 5GB of LPDDR16X RAM and up to 4.0GB of UFS 512 storage. The base model only supports UFS 3.1. and Wi-Fi 6, while The Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, ensuring faster and more stable connectivity.
Both devices are equipped with a 7.000mAh battery with 80W fast charge, capable of reaching 100% in just 54 minutes, and supports bypass mode to power the phone directly from the mains during gaming. The photographic compartment includes a 16MP Sony IMX480 front camera and a dual rear camera with 50MP OmniVision OV50D40 main sensor with OIS (Pro only) and a 2MP depth sensor.

The operating system is ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, with advanced features for gaming and customization. Both models boast IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 certifications, making them resistant to splashes, immersion and high-pressure water jets.
Prices start at 1799 yuan (about 250 euros) for the K13 Turbo and 1999 yuan (about 275 euros) for the K13 Turbo Pro, with configurations up to 16GB + 512GB.
