POCO officially unveiled its new flagship smartphones, POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra, two models that aim to conquer the global market thanks to high-end specifications and an aggressive price positioning.
POCO F8 Pro and Ultra: Global debut with aggressive pricing
Il POCO F8 Pro It stands out for its 6,59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 3500 nits, ensuring a smooth and brilliant visual experience. Under the hood, we find the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
The battery is one of its strong points: with a capacity of 6.210mAh, it supports 100W fast wired charging and even 22,5W reverse charging. The camera department includes a 50MP Light Fusion main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2,5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle. For selfies, there's a 20MP camera.
Other features include IP68 certification, Liquid Cool cooling system, WiFi 7 support, and the Android 16 operating system with HyperOS 3.
The price starts at €519 for the 12GB + 256GB version thanks to the launch offer (valid until December 10), while the official price list is €649. The 12GB + 512GB variant costs €649, reduced to €599 with the initial promotion.
Il POCO F8 Ultra It brings a more refined design, with the new Denim Blue finish and an elongated camera module that also integrates a Sound by Bose rear speaker. The display is a 6,9-inch OLED with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and 3500 nits peak brightness.
At the heart of the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, flanked by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The 6.500mAh battery supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The photographic sector is premium level: 50MP Light Fusion 950 1/1.31” main sensor with OIS, 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, 50MP ultra-wide angle, and a 32MP front camera.
The price starts at €699 for the 12GB + 256GB version on launch offer (until December 10), while the official list price is €829. The 16GB + 512GB variant costs €899, reduced to €749 with the promotion.
