Do you have a car already equipped with an advanced infotainment system but need to upgrade? Don't have advanced infotainment but don't want to install a different car stereo than the one that comes standard? Is your vehicle not compatible with traditional single-DIN and double-DIN car stereos? Whatever your vehicle and whatever the limitations in your interior, you can have the most advanced and functional infotainment system available. The solution is Getpairr ScreenFlow, a product that can be installed in any vehicle with a cigarette lighter socket. It also features all the advanced features you could want from such a system, as well as being compatible with important additional accessories. In this Getpairr ScreenFlow review, you'll discover all its potential in detail and understand how it can literally revolutionize your driving experience.

Unboxing
The package isn't particularly rich, but you can purchase a windshield bracket with a suction cup and a rear-view camera separately, while the sales box includes everything you need to install the infotainment system optimally in any vehicle. Once opened, in addition to the display, you'll find an AUX cable, a multilingual user manual, and a cigarette lighter socket with a Type-C connector. The power adapter itself features a USB-A port so you can charge devices even when the cigarette lighter socket is in use.

As for screen installation, a semi-rigid mounting bracket with double-sided adhesive is already installed, so the screen will only need to be placed on the car's dashboard. I didn't notice any unusual movement of the screen while driving, so the adhesive attachment is very strong. However, I recommend purchasing some spare double-sided adhesive, as the summer heat could certainly reduce the performance of the original adhesive.

Design and display
The GetPairr ScreenFlow's design is simple and minimal, yet modern. It features a display with thin bezels and a horizontally elongated shape, making it a perfect fit for any car, no matter where it's placed. On the inside, we find the Type-C power input, a micro SD slot, an AUX input, and an AV-IN port for connecting a rear-view camera. The on/off button is located on the top, while the system speaker, one of the system's four audio output options, is located on the back.

Let's talk about the display, a solution I particularly appreciated for several reasons. First of all, it's large: at 11,4 inches diagonally, it's practically a small tablet, allowing for visibility even at close range. Furthermore, it's a panel with a good anti-glare treatment and a 60Hz refresh rate. The lighting is also excellent and always highly visible, regardless of the surrounding conditions. Unfortunately, there's no adaptive brightness.

Considering that this is a useful screen for navigation but also for entertainment, since when the car is stationary you can watch videos and surf the Internet, the presence of a responsive touchscreen and good color fidelity is also very interesting.

Functionality and performance
The features offered by ScreenFlow are everything you'd expect from today's most comprehensive infotainment system. We can think of this device as a two-faced coin: the more traditional infotainment system and the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay features that make it smarter than a smartphone when driving.

Let's start with the basic features. Thanks to a micro SD slot, Getpairr's product can play music and videos, as well as view photos and small documents. In addition to a file manager, the system also includes the Gallery app and VLC. Speaking of VLC, this app can also be used to view IPTV channels, thanks to a little trick. Naturally, you can play music via Bluetooth from your phone, choosing between AUX, FM radio, the built-in speaker, or the Bluetooth connection to your car's infotainment system as the audio output.

The interface is very intuitive, with a Home screen consisting of two widgets on the left side and an app drawer on the right. Icons are well-spaced and easy to identify, while on the left we have a navigation bar that includes the Home and Back buttons, and a split-screen function, allowing us to use two apps simultaneously while viewing both on a single screen. The system's responsiveness is good, and I never noticed any hesitation or slowdowns. We also have an integrated store from which to download additional streaming apps, but you can't install external apps either through the file manager or the Play Store, which is present but hidden.

Of course, there's also the option to use Android Auto and CarPlay, features I won't go into much detail about, as the experience offered is the same as that found on many similar products and also offered by the infotainment systems integrated into most modern cars. For those unfamiliar, Android Auto is an operating system that allows you to use Android apps in cars (the same goes for CarPlay, but with iOS), with an interface adapted for use while driving, using your smartphone's internet connection and therefore without the need for a SIM card or other solutions to go online. Another excellent feature is the ability to use voice commands for making calls, managing music, scheduling appointments, GPS navigation, and much more.

The real advantage of Getpairr ScreenFlow, however, is the ability to use two apps simultaneously, such as Netflix with CarPlay while navigating home. If we receive a call, the audio from the video source is muted, prioritizing the call audio. However, to use Android Auto/CarPlay and any streaming, you must have two smartphones or a smartphone and a Wi-Fi connection. This is because the smartphone you pair Android Auto/CarPlay with will have its Wi-Fi bandwidth occupied by the infotainment system, and therefore you won't be able to create a hotspot that allows ScreenFlow to access the Internet. This can be considered the product's only limitation, but it couldn't be avoided.

Price and conclusions
For all it offers, Getpairr ScrenFlow is truly a bargain. You can find it for just €137,95 directly on the manufacturer's website. This device truly offers you everything you need, unlike models from other well-known brands that cost twice as much but offer half the features. What's more, it's universal and easy to install, so you don't have to remove your car's standard system or worry about compatibility: all you need is a cigarette lighter socket and you'll know it's compatible. Due to its practicality, its more than adequate performance, and its countless features that make it one of the best allies for travelers, it's a product I recommend and that every motorist should try at least once.
