After launching the M30 Pro yesterday, today Xiaomi has released the cheapest Smart Door Lock E30, with a starting price of 699 yuan (about 90 euros). Let's find out more.
Xiaomi Smart Door Lock E30 Released in China with Nine Unlocking Methods
The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock E30 stands out for its triple protection lock body and a six-layer security system. It uses a Level C locking cylinder direct insertion, which passes through the entire structure of the lock, making it more difficult to open the door even if the outer panel is dismantled with force. In addition, the lock body integrates a clutch and a half-opening detection sensor, which emits an alarm in the event of an attempt to partially open the door, providing additional protection against break-in attempts.
One of the most notable aspects of the Smart Door Lock E30 is its ability to support nine different unlock methods. Among these, the AI fingerprint recognition, which has a maximum recognition time of 0,5 seconds and a recognition rate of 99,29%. Other unlocking methods include long-term passwords, temporary passwords, unlock phone via bluetooth, emergency mechanical key, NFC card (purchased separately), Xiaomi smartphone, Xiaomi smartwatches and Xiaomi smart bands.
The lock also offers a one year battery life. When the battery runs out, you can connect an external power bank via Type-C to provide emergency power. This ensures that the lock remains operational even in emergency situations.
The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock E30 is compatible with Xiaomi HyperOS and can be connected to the Mi Home app. This allows users to manage the lock remotely, receive alarm notifications, and share device management permissions with family members. Connectivity with the Mi Home app makes using the lock even more convenient, allowing you to control the door anytime, anywhere.
