The series Xiaomi 17 has conquered the Chinese market with impressive speed. Less than a week after the official launch, the president of Xiaomi, Lu Weibing, announced on Weibo that the range has already exceeded 1 million units sold, setting a new record for the brand.
Xiaomi 17 sets record: over 1 million units sold in 7 days

The milestone was reached faster than any previous generation, a clear sign of the growing interest in Xiaomi's flagships. To meet demand, the company has already begun ramping up production, confirming the series' commercial success.
The range consists of three models: Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, all equipped with the brand new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm's most powerful chip. The base model, Xiaomi 17, integrates a 7.000mAh Si/C battery and a triple rear camera, offering a perfect balance between battery life, performance, and photographic versatility.
The Pro and Pro Max models take things even further: both boast a second rear display, useful for selfies, notifications, and quick functions. The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, in particular, stands out for its 7.500mAh battery, one of the largest ever seen on a high-end smartphone, and an advanced camera system with 50MP sensors and periscope zoom.
The refined design, flagship-level specs, and HyperOS 3 integration have made the Xiaomi 17 series one of the most sought-after smartphones of the moment. This initial success could be just the beginning, as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected later this year, bringing further innovations in mobile photography.
With these numbers, Xiaomi demonstrates that it is a point of reference in the Android landscape, capable of competing with the big names in the sector and offering advanced technology at competitive prices.
