In fact, you will just need to replace the current SIM present in the package with one of your choice, all Italian operators are supported. In the package we then find a bracket to attach the video camera to the wall, even upside down and to be able to orient it with the arm on the bracket. We also find the screws and stops for anchoring but also a template to better define the anchoring point, USB-A / Type-C charging cable and finally the user manual.
The XEGA XG-13 security camera can be used both indoors and outdoors in domestic environments, such as temporary parking lots, campsites and picnics without the fear of damage, counting on an IP65 certification. Looking closely at the camera, we find the 3MP HD lens on the front that offers a 90° field of view on the horizontal axis and 77° on the vertical axis with 2K resolution. Under the lens we find the PIR sensor for motion detection and the infrared sensor for night vision. Then there is an LED, the microphone and a speaker, the latter positioned on the back, a combination that allows not only to listen but also to converse, therefore a 2-way audio, useful for example if we want to give directions to the courier or communicate with the child temporarily left home alone.
On the lower profile we find the screw insert for the anchoring bracket or to use a mini tripod and finally a door that hides inside the on/off button, the reset button and then Type-C input for charging, micro SD slot and SIM slot. As you may have guessed from the technical equipment, the XEGA XG-13 allows night vision both in black and white (infrared vision) but also in color, via the built-in LED with excellent definition of details at least within 15 meters. The PIR sensor and the speaker then also allow you to launch an audible alarm in case of detection of suspicious activity, thus putting the criminal on duty to flight.

Compared to other similar products, the XEGA XG-13 does not suffer from signal loss and the subject detection occurs quite quickly, albeit with a delay of a couple of seconds. We can define the recording quality via the app, but also add effects to our voice (child/caveman effect), a function that is perhaps useless but nice if we want to play pranks on those inside the house. We can then use the 4X digital zoom to enlarge details but also define areas to exclude from PIR detection, avoiding false alarms. The captured audio can be heard very well, something not to be underestimated, since in certain situations it is possible to recognize someone by their voice.
In conclusion, XEGA XG-13 is an economical surveillance camera that does what it promises. Practical and easy to use, you can take it with you anywhere, even temporarily insert it into your car if parked in an unsafe area. Good definition of video capture and excellent audio quality. The LED flash can illuminate completely dark situations, allowing for better capture of details but above all it is an additional element of disturbance for the criminal on duty. Highly recommended.
