Xiaomi today surprises us with the sale of a musical instrument that can be carried comfortably in a bag. We are talking about a roll-up top proposed in two versions: one from 61 keys and dimensions equal to 100 x 22 mm and a second one from 88 musical keys with 138 size x 22 mm. Both models are equipped with a 2000 mAh battery and 4.0 Bluetooth module that allows the musical instrument to be connected to the companion app on the smartphone.
We find the presence of a loudspeaker for a stand-alone use which, however, can be connected even more speakers in series for a true concert-style effect. 128 instruments and 140 bases are available on which you can compose your own music. The price of this plan is 399 yuan (about 51 euros at current exchange rates) for the smaller version while for the one from 88 keys are required 429 yuan (approx. 55 euro) and we will probably never see this product at our latitudes considering that the various key features are exclusively in Chinese.
To all the music on Youpin: roll-up floor and ZMI clock radio the new gadgets presented in crowdfunding
Another interesting musical gadget comes from the sub brand ZMI, better known for its powerbanks and similar gadgets for charging tech devices. This time, however, the Chinese brand gives us a clock radio with support for Alexa, as well as a series of functions that allow the reproduction of music, information on the weather, reminders, etc.
Among the most salient features we find:
- Digital display
- Integrated Alexa voice assistant: weather, calendar, translations and more
- Automatic brightness according to the environment
- Control of smart home devices via Alexa
- Playing local radio stations and streming compatible music services
Supported music services:
- Amazon Music
- Dame Radio
The ZMI clock radio model is AC01ZM and the name is Reason 1One and is powered by a micro USB cable with 5V / 1,5 A power. There is connectivity Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n 2,4 GHz and has dimensions of 126,2 × 60,8 × 27 mm for a weight of 170 grams. This is the first product of the Xiaomi family that abandons the Xiao AI assistant to give full space to a third-party assistant, in this case Alexa.
The sale will begin to date 15 October at a price of around 20 euros at current exchange rates, but of course to see it at our latitudes we should wait for the landing on third party stores that will inevitably raise the sale price. We therefore await developments, as it would indeed be an interesting product if Alexa's support also extended to the Italian language.
