Although the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has proved to be a highly interesting device, this seems to have been so often put aside by the company. In fact, the various users have often complained of lack of updates, which in fact are still late in coming. For the China version of the device, at least for the beta seems to have arrived the new MIUI 10 interface with Android 8.1 Oreo, but for Global users, the bitter taste is still present as it is the now old Nougat.
Fortunately, there is no Xiaomi smartphone that has not passed under the hands of international modders, which over the years have developed Custom ROM worthy of note. Among the most acclaimed we find the LineageOS that has collected the heavy legacy of CyanogenMod. LineageOS 15.1 has a huge amount of functionality and allows a deep personalization, certainly less effective as that proposed by MIUI, but at least brings the experience of Android 8.1 Oreo on Mi Note 3, for too long been left behind with the times, and above all officially.
