And so after various sightings, even the oldest of the large family of Xiaomi smartphones receive the expected and nourished update to Android 10 with MIUI 11, which arrived almost close to the one released for Mi 9 Lite and Mi 9 SE. In addition to all the news related to Android 10, the MIUI 11 for Mi 8, Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 SE gets further features related to the management of permits as well as some tweaks to the Always On Display and dark mode.

The new update should already be rolling out for Mi 8 and Mi 8 Pro via classic OTA notification, otherwise you can proceed with the download and manual flash via the links that you find below, but before proceeding we always recommend making a backup copy of the most important data, perhaps taking advantage of the initiative made available by Xiaomi, which provides 50 GB of storage space on the Mi Cloud, completely free for a year.For Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, instead at the moment , it is only available in the China version, therefore it is useless to link the ROM to it.
