After being anticipated a few days ago, the Amazfit Bip S is shown again in another teaser that reminds us of the now imminent arrival. The smartwatch will indeed be presented at CES 2020 which will take place in Las Angeles on January 7th.

The Amazfit Bip S promises to be a device very similar to those of the same series already released by the Chinese brand (Bip and Bip Lite), if only for the adoption of the name Bip with the simple addition of the letter "S". So let's talk about a special edition of an existing wearable.
Having said that, the teaser shared by Amazfit anticipates that there will be quite important changes in terms of hardware. The brand says that the Bip S will be more powerful in terms of performance than its predecessor. In addition to bringing a significantly improved autonomy. Both results can be obtained using a more modern processor and therefore both more performing and with lower energy consumption, or by integrating a larger battery.
To be clear, the Amazfit Bip currently adopts a 190mAh battery, while the Bip Lite has a 200mAh battery. The Bip S could therefore integrate a 200mAh or larger battery.
As for the other specifications, the smartwatch should weigh 30 grams and use a 1.28-inch diagonal screen with 176 x 176 resolution and Always On Display function. The display will also be covered with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass to minimize scratches
We will then have a good impermeability with the IP68 standard, GPS system to monitor our movements with greater precision and Bluetooth connectivity at least fourth generation with BLE function.
Finally, we should find a PPG-type heart beat sensor, a three-axis accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor and barometer.
In any case, we have to wait poco more than two weeks and finally we will find out more details on the new Amazfit wearable.
