A couple of days ago we had anticipated the possible launch of a new Amazfit smartwatch which is part of the GTR series. Well, today the Huami brand has formalized the now imminent arrival of the Amazfit GTR 2 LTE.

The smartwatch was in fact shown in a new video in which we learn some of the main features such as 4G connectivity, support for 90 sports modes, an internal storage space and the ability to make voice calls directly from the wearable thanks to the integrated E-SIM. .
The branding also shows us what the graphics will look like during the call in the image above. This also confirms the final design, almost identical to that of the Amazfit GTR 2.
We can therefore speculate that all other specifications will remain unchanged from the GTR 2. This means that the smartwatch has a screen size of 1,39 inches, a resolution of 454 × 454, a pixel density of 326 ppi and a maximum brightness of 450 nits;
The Amazfit GTR 2 supports the always-on display function and the time can be displayed even in the idle state of the screen, bringing a user experience similar to traditional watches.
The smartwatch has also been completely updated with health monitoring and management features. It is equipped with blood oxygen saturation detection, 24 hour heart rate monitoring, sleep breathing quality monitoring and PAI health assessment system, to present more accurate and complete health.
Finally, the Amazfit GTR 2 is equipped with the latest BioTracker 2 PPG bio-tracking optical sensor developed by Huami, which integrates a RealBeats heart rate algorithm that can not only perform 24/24 heart rate monitoring, but also send an over-heart rate alert, supports automatic detection of atrial fibrillation and arrhythmia, in-depth monitoring of heart health levels, and early warning of potential heart problems.
