At the Huami autumn launch conference held in Beijing in September, the brand unveiled the new flagship Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatches, two devices characterized by a sleek and slim design, with different professional health monitoring functions.
Amazfit GTR 2e and Amazfit GTS 2e official in China: now with temperature sensor
Well, today Huami Technology has officially released the new Amazfit GTR 2e and Amazfit GTS 2e in China, both priced at 799 yuan, about 100 euros at the exchange rate.
The Amazfit GTR 2e and Amazfit GTS 2e offer a more attractive and fashionable look thanks to the new colors, together with a new sensor for measuring the temperature. At the same time, to improve the user experience, the battery life of the two smartwatches has been improved, with the Amazfit GTR 2e reaching up to 24 days of autonomy.
As for the rest, the Amazfit GTR 2e and Amazfit GTS 2e adopt the same design as their predecessors, with no noticeable difference in the overall appearance. The smartwatches then use the same borderless design with 2.5D glass cover that is transparent. While the colors available are now Obsidian Black, Roland Purple and Dark Night Green for the GTS 2e and is available in Obsidian Black, Dolphin Gray and Ice Lake Green for the GTR 2e.
In terms of functionality, wearables still put health at the center of attention with the blood oxygen sensing sensor, 24-hour daily heart rate monitoring and sleep monitoring. We then monitor the quality of breathing during sleep combined with the blood oxygen engine.
As mentioned earlier, the GTR 2e and GTS 2e also have a temperature measurement sensor, to help users understand changes in ambient temperature. So it's not about our body temperature, a feature that would have come in handy in this period.
