Amazfit products on offer on Amazon: up to 25% discount on Amazfit GTS, GTR and T-Rex
Let's start with the most stylish of all, the Amazfit GTS. The smartwatch arrives with a rectangular-shaped display, very similar to the Apple Watch, therefore very trendy. The case adopts an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy body, very resistant and light, making it weigh only 24,8 grams, while the thickness is 9,4mm.
The wearable then adopts a 1,65-inch diagonal and AMOLED type screen. The display has a resolution of 348 x 442 pixels for a PPI (pixels per inch) of 341, therefore more defined than the Apple Watch and at the limit as regards AMOLED technology; finally we have a 100% NTSC color gamut.
The Amazfit GTS is equipped with an optical PPG sensor for bio-tracking and an artificial intelligence “bio-data” system, this will allow you to identify cases of arrhythmia (including atrial fibrillation) and therefore potentially save your life. Then there are 12 traditional sports modes, waterproof up to 5 ATM, positioning with double satellite, NFC module for going on buses and for everyday use (at least in China). While the autonomy stands at 14 days.
For those interested in purchasing the Amazfit GTS, you can buy it on Amazon for only € 99,90 once the coupon has been applied (image below).
Let's now pass to the Amazfit GTR, a smartwatch with a sportier design but which we can still wear on any occasion. The device is available in two versions, with a 47mm and 42mm case, so it will suit both men and women. In both cases we still have an AMOLED type display, with a size of 1,39 inches and a resolution of 454 x 454 for the 47mm, while the 42mm one equips a 1,20 inch screen and a resolution of 390 x 390.
The display is then surrounded by a steel ring, while the strap is in leather on the outside for a more refined look with the silicone interior for a more comfortable experience during sports activities.
Among the sensors on board the smartwatch we find an accelerometer at 6 axes that will come in handy during our training sessions. In fact, the sensor helps monitor the various activities carried out, which can be of 12 types including running outdoors, swimming in the pool, cycling and more. There is also the dual GPS + GLONASS module that will allow a more faithful tracking of our routes.
Also for sport (but not only) we then have the integrated Biotracker PPG module to be able to check your heart rate at all times, check the quality and duration of sleep. Everything can then be viewed on the companion app, or that of Amazfit available on Play Store and App Store.
Finally, for autonomy, the 47mm version boasts an autonomy of 24 days with a single charge and with a “typical” use, 74 days in watch only mode and 40 hours with GPS always active.
If the GTR isn't aggressive enough for your taste, the newer Amazfit T-Rex is for you. Let's start by remembering that the T-Rex is the wearable manufacturer's most rugged (durable) smartwatch. In fact, the device passed 12 military-grade standards before it was released to the market.
In addition to being ultra-durable, the T-Rex is also a quality smartwatch with its 1,3-inch AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover.
As for the features, we have the optical sensor for detecting the heartbeat BioTracker PPG, a three-axis acceleration sensor, a geomagnetic sensor and one for the ambient light that will serve for display brightness and much more.
Obviously the GPS + GLONASS and the Bluetooth 5.0 BLE connection module are not missing, while thanks to the 390 mAh battery we will have an autonomy of 20 days.
