The smartwatch line of ZEPP Health, once Huami, Xiaomi's shoulder company, is expanding. According to the information in our possession it seems that the Amazfit series will soon have a new entry: it is the smartwatch Amazfit Pop 2. Surely many of our readers will not know this series, and basically rightly so. The device in the first version it never came in Europe. On the contrary, however, the Pop 2 could do it. Having said that, let's see the first information.
Amazfit Pop 2 is Huami's next smartwatch (now Zepp Health) on the way. The Bluetooth SIG certification reveals the first information
First of all, the information we have comes from the Bluetooth SIG portal, which often anticipates the release of new products. In this case we are talking about Amazfit Pop 2, an unpublished smartwatch of which we still know some information. First of all the device will equip a Bluetooth 5.2 chip, in line with all the latest smartwatches on the market. Having been certified by Bluetooth SIG it is assumed that the Amazfit Pop 2 smartwatch will arrive in Europe.
The most interesting change that we will see on this device, however, will be screen HD AMOLED bigger. It will in fact pass from 1.43 "to 1.78". It is a decidedly large screen for a mid-range Amazfit smartwatch, if we consider that the Bip 3 and 3 Pro have a 1.69 ″ display. Clearly, Zepp Health will give users the ability to customize Amazfit Pop 2's display with usual 100-150 watchfaces.
In line with the other devices in the previous series, the Pop 2 will have an square design but with rounded edges. We don't know if the screen will be curved or flat. We will have to wait for official information which, however, will not be long in coming. Needless to say, for now we don't know the price of the wearable device, so go to end month, a period in which it will certainly be released in China.
