After the excitement for the launch of new smartphones by Xiaomi and Redmi, technology enthusiasts led by Lei Jun's company are literally going crazy for the debut of a new Huami smartwatch, better known for its AmazFit wearables. In the past week Huami has teased us with the release of the AmazFit Verge Lite and of the AmazFit Bip Lite, both improved in autonomy but that lighten at the hardware level, effectively proposing itself as an alternative to the sportsman who searches for completeness in data collection but who does not care about certain features such as answering calls directly from the smartwatch or that does not need GPS.
As we can see from the screenshot above, it is the same Qualcomm (China division) to give official information about the launch of a new AmazFit device, news that is further confirmed by the Huami company, which sets an event for 11 June. The details on both teasers of the respective companies reveal that the new wearable gadget will have the new SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 on board. This is deduced from the words "I love you Tree Thousand" (I love you three thousand).
AmazFit Verge 2 with eSIM coming in June 11: word from Qualcomm
Ok but what will the new device be? To judge the images posted on Weibo by Wei Fandi, vice president of Huami, the day of the event will be dedicated to AmazFit Verge 2, a name that can be read from the sales package posted on social media. AmazFit Verge 2 will be equipped with eSIM Full Netcom, allowing users to use the wearable completely independently of their smartphone without having to insert a physical SIM.
In part everything is confirmed also by the recent lowering of the price that the Gearbest online store is offering in these hours and that sees the AmazFit Verge on offer at around 117 euros, including Priority Line shipping, but even less the Gearvita store that offers the device to 100 euro. Well if I were you I wouldn't let it go.
How does this esim? Do I have to pay a monthly subscription? If so, it remains for the few.
