As you probably know, today was the day of Xiaomi Mi Band 4, or the latest ultra-economic fitness band presented by the Chinese technology giant. But the spotlight could be stolen by another equally interesting wearable that we could see coming to our country before long, we're talking about AmazFit Verge Lite.
Thanks to one of our readers we were able to get our hands on the images hidden in the latest update of the Mi Fit application for Android smartphones.
AmazFit Verge Lite found on the Mi Fit app, near the arrival in Italy?
These images would suggest the possible launch of an international version of the AmazFit smartwatch. The code name of the device is Phy, a name that some of you will remember as already seen in this previous leak.
Returning to the images, these seem to portray the AmazFit Verge Lite, along with several icons that we will probably find in the various menus of the application dedicated to the smartwatch in question.
For those not in the know, Verge Lite is the latest sportwatch presented by the Xiaomi sub-brand, AmazFit. The main specifications of the device include an 1,30-inch AMOLED screen with 360 x 360 resolution and covered with third-generation Corning Gorilla Glass. We then have a silicone and polycarbonate strap, a PPG heartbeat sensor, a three-axis light sensor and 5.0-type Bluetooth acceleration sensor.
Additionally, there is also a GPS + GLONASS system for more precise activity tracking, a 390mAh battery for up to 20 days of battery life, and IP68 certified waterproofness. The only real shortcoming on the Lite version of the Verge is the lack of the NFC module, which however is almost never compatible with services outside of China.
In any case, returning to today's leak, as we said before, this could suggest an imminent presentation in the global or at least the European market.
