Compared to some time ago, sportwatch fashion has increasingly taken hold, so that in addition to the features offered, companies are increasingly dedicated to the design of the device that will monitor our fitness activities. And it is no less Huami that about a year ago launched the model AmazFit Stratos that you all know, but that perhaps few remember in the second variant, namely the AmazFit Stratos 2S Premium Edition, proposed in China to 1499 yuan, equal to about 195 euro at the current exchange rate.
The particularity of this sportwatch compared to the model we already know is not in the features offered or in the sports monitoring but rather in the composition of the materials related to the strap and the glass of the dial. In fact instead of the traditional (and perhaps more comfortable) silicone / rubber strap, the Chinese company has preferred to adorn the AmazFit Stratos 2S with a leather strap, much more elegant, although naturally having a vote for sport is not missing in the package a second fluo rubber strap, both with quick release, in order to switch from elegant to more sporty situations.

But in my opinion the real plus lies in the composition of the dial glass, made of sapphire with 2.5D finish. In fact one of the defects that I could find in my review, was just the "fragility" of the protective glass of the standard model of the AmazFit Stratos. In addition, the new glass provides even better visibility under the sun and greater resistance to scratches, bumps and falls. We remember among the characteristics of Huami's sportwatch that there is a certification to the immissions up to 50 meters, possibility of sports monitoring for 16 different sports including swimming and a wide autonomy, so far only beaten by the Verge.
