Android 15 is now available for these 3 Xiaomi devices

Google today has Wear OS 5 announced together with Android 15. In both cases these are the first builds, and therefore the Developer Preview. What does it mean? That only developers can use the services and features of the new operating system. Android 15 Beta 1 also arrived for Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13T Pro e Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 and is available for download immediately.

The Android 15 Developer Preview program allows you to access all the features necessary to improve compatibility and application development. Currently, Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13T Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 devices can take part for free. By uploading the preview build to your device, you can use it immediately. However, as mentioned above, it is about the Developer Preview and this means that not all users can/are able to install and use it.

Before we get started, here are some important steps:

1. Unlocking the Bootloader: Make sure you have permission to unlock the bootloader before proceeding. Unlocking the bootloader on Xiaomi HyperOS presents various security risks and can have unpredictable effects on your device. 2. Data Backup: don't forget to make a complete backup of your data before updating to the Android 15 beta. This step is crucial to avoid losing important information during the update;
3. Beta build download: Download the model-specific Android 15 beta build Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13t pro e Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4;
4. Update instructions: To join the beta, follow the update tutorial via Fastboot;

To return to factory settings or exit beta:

• turn off the device.
• Press the Volume-Down key and Power key simultaneously for 4-5 seconds to enter Fastboot mode.
