With the increasing popularity of the Redmi brand, the MIUI development team seems to have made a change of course on the updates dedicated to the "old" Xiaomi branded models. We are talking about Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, towards which the Chinese developers had given a stop to any OS updates, but apparently in these hours something has moved because the latest major release of the green robot dedicated to the two entry levels is been spotted online.
Android 9 Pie also lands on Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A
Before singing victory, it should be noted that at the moment it is possible to use the upgrade only through an Early Beta, which is a ROM that could be highly unstable.
