AnTuTu: Xiaomi and Redmi have smartphones with the best performance / price ratio

The famous benchmarking platform AnTuTu has just released the new July rankings which are based on the performance / price ratio of Android smartphones based on the data collected in the background by the app. As we will see in poco, most of the models on the list were released in the first half of the year, this means that AnTuTu does not purposely remove the older devices, on the contrary, the fact that they are still in the list after six months indicates that they still have a remarkable specific price ratio.

It should also be noted that the scores of the ranking created by AnTuTu are calculated based on the scores obtained in the V8 version of the software. In particular, the ratio of the running performance score divided by the current price is calculated. The prerequisite for being selected is that the model must fall within the overall performance ranking of AnTuTu. If it is not on the performance list due to insufficient actual execution points, even if the performance / price ratio is high, the device will not be on the list.

performance / price ratio

AnTuTu has created a total of three rankings depending on the price ranges, let's start with the first which includes devices with a price below 1499 yuan, or up to 182 €.

As we can see in the image above, the winner of this ranking is the Redmi Note 8 Pro with a score of 258.8 points. The smartphone is priced at 1099 Yuan (133 €) in China for the 6GB + 64GB version.

In terms of specifications, as we know the Redmi Note 8 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G90T as a processor, liquid cooling with integrated copper tube which allows it to obtain an average score of 284.429 on AnTuTu. If we add to this the fact that it is equipped with a 1 megapixel Samsung GW64 sensor, the Note 8 Pro still looks like one of the most interesting entry-level devices on the market.
