The AOSP ROM comes to the OnePlus One, officially announced by one of the OnePlus forum administrators.
OnePlus was one of the first smartphones to be launched with a custom ROM, made by one of the most important team in the scene, the CyanogenMod team. The team realized for this smartphone the CyanogenMod 11S ROM, full of features and customizations. Yet some users prefer the Android stock, or pure Android, as we find it on Nexus range devices.
To satisfy these users, highlighting the vocation to the OnePlus One modding, OnePlus has released the AOSP One AOSP forum for the One. AOSP is an acronym for Android Open Source Project, and represents, as we have said, pure and simple Android, without adding too many customizations.
The team has made it known that the ROM is still in development, so there may be some problems (let's call them their real name: BUG) not yet resolved but the installation will not invalidate the warranty in any way, provided you do not send your brick smartphone with alternative procedures or miscellaneous errors. For an installation and download guide, please go to post on the official forum of OnePlus.
