Yesterday we provided you much information about BlackShark, the new gaming smartphone born from the collaboration of the company of the same name and Xiaomi. The official report on the collaboration between the two companies has arrived, but also the official presentation date which will be held on April 13 at 15: 00 in Beijing. Previously the image that confirmed theQualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU adoption, but what most shocked the minds yesterday was the disclosure of leaked images of what will be the smartphone from gaming, just BlackShark.
Today those images are categorically denied directly by the CEO of BlackShark, which in a post on Weibo declares that the shown design is really ugly and that their products are not like that, BlackShark is primarily a smartphone and not a smart console.
Objectively the design appeared in the leaked images may like it or not, but BlackShark presents itself to the world as a smartphone dedicated to gaming so we should not expect a highly revolutionary design, although the idea of an integrated joystick is not to be underestimated, after all we are almost all children of the Nokia N-Gage generation.
So we are at the starting point, and we only have information about the processor, the RAM that will be pushed up to 8 GB and a display with aspect ratio in 18: 9. But one thing is provided to us at the software level, namely that BlackShark will adopt a ROM based on Android Oreo with main functions derived from MIUI of Xiaomi but still independent of both interfaces, as it will be naturally optimized for gaming.
So we just have to wait for the 13 April hoping that the cooperation with the JD.com store leads to faster globalization and therefore BlackShark does not remain a device related to Chinese territory alone.
