ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra leaks online: here's what we know so far

Just a few months ago, ASUS launched the Zenfone 11 Ultra and now it is preparing to present its successor, the Zenfone 12 Ultra. The first leaked information indicates that the new smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor of Qualcomm and will have at least 12GB of RAM. This makes it an extremely powerful device, in line with the needs of the most demanding users.

Interestingly, the Zenfone 12 Ultra and the ROG Phone 9 series will share many features. This pattern was already evident with the Zenfone 11 Ultra and ROG Phone 8 series, launched earlier this year. According to the IMEI database, the model number of the ROG Phone 9 is ASUSAI2501D, further confirming the close similarity between the two devices.

In addition to the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor and 12GB of RAM, the ROG Phone 9 series will feature lighting and trigger buttons designed specifically for gaming, making it an ideal device for gamers. However, there is no precise information on the release date of these two smartphones yet. Considering that the Zenfone 11 Ultra and ROG Phone 8 series were released earlier this year, it is likely that the new ASUS devices will launch in 2025.

So the Zenfone 12 Ultra promises to be a cutting-edge device, with high-level technical specifications and features designed to satisfy both common users and gamers. It remains to be seen how the information will evolve in the coming months, but one thing is for sure: ASUS is working hard to maintain its prominent position in the high-end smartphone market.
