At the event of 10 August Xiaomi will also present the second generation of Mi OLED TV

Surely the most avid fans of the Xiaomi brand will have marked on their calendar the date of August 10, the day on which Lei Jun's company will show off its full potential, considering that in the product presentation lineup we find the expected Mi Mix 4, Mi Pad 5, MIUI 13 and Mi Note 11. A poker of products that also mark the return of excellences of the past such as the renowned Mi Mix series and the tablet according to Xiaomi.

But perhaps we have also talked abundantly about this and therefore it is right to dedicate a few lines to another product, which in the last year has made the Chinese brand known to the many lovers of home multimedia, or smart TVs. In fact, again on 10 August, the event will also be attended by the second generation of OLED TVs, which according to the company will arrive with dramatic improvements in image quality.

The details on this Smart TV remain unknown, but we are confident in the usual leaks and pre-launch teasers. However, the selling price will certainly be of interest: last year Xiaomi launched its first OLED Smart TV defined as Mi TV Master, at a price of 12999 yuan, corresponding to about 1700 euros at the exchange rate but at such a short distance, the product can already be found at prices around 999 yuan, or about 1307 euros.

Based on the previous specs, we expect at least a 4-inch 65-bit 10K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC, 3% DCI-P98,5 color gamut and 1000000: 1 contrast ratio, with 1000 nit peak brightness, HDR10 +, Dolby Vision, 1ms response and 98,8% screen-to-body ratio.

This is what was offered to us, but paraphrasing what was announced by Xiaomi, the image quality will be much better and therefore also the hardware specifications will point to improvements as well as the processor could undergo a change, decreeing the return of Qualcomm in the field of Smart. TV, or by confirming a MediaTek SoC to manage the PatchWall and MIUI TV system on an Android basis.

There will certainly be 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage memory, as well as a spectacular sound, provided by speakers with subwoofers for a minimum of 65W of power. We will see if we are right or not, so much is really missing now poco to discover this playful jewel as well.
