This is a fatal blow for manufacturers specializing in the development of gaming phones, such as the Xiaomi sub-brand Black Shark.

In fact, in early January, the news came out that the next Black Shark would be canceled and that many employees of the company laid off.
That said, today the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station has unveiled the specifications of what should have arrived with the name of Black Shark 6. According to what was revealed by the leakster, the device would have equipped a flat screen with 2K resolution and a hole at the top for the front camera. The smartphone was supposed to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, along with a 5000mAh battery and 120W fast charging support. While for the photos we would have found the Sony IMX686 sensor.
Other specifications included large symmetrical speakers, the strongest active cooling and heat dissipation system and a ceramic body.
Will Black Shark 6 see the light of day? My personal opinion
In any case, at the moment the situation is not very clear in the Black Shark house. My personal opinion is that no devices will be launched since, as mentioned earlier, gaming phones are no longer in great demand and even at the peak of their popularity they weren't moving large numbers. But of course I could be wrong, for the happiness of "professional" mobile gamers.
