Maybe you didn't even know they existed, but eye massagers are one of those products that once you've used them, you won't be able to do without them. It happens to everyone to spend hours in front of the PC and find themselves with tired and/or dry eyes or suffer from migraines and therefore a non-invasive solution is precisely in the product that I propose to you today, namely the Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 which brings some features that you don't expect. I tried it for you and I'll tell you my impressions in this review.

What is that?
The Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 is an eye mask that essentially massages your eyes, using heat and music. The product is rechargeable and its portability offers the possibility of using it anywhere, such as on the train, in the car, in the office or simply lying on the couch, providing a painless and relaxing treatment. At first glance, the Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 is a sleek and modern device, made from a blend of medical-grade materials to ensure safety and comfort. Its ergonomic design fits gently on the eyes, aiming to ensure an even distribution of pressure during the massage.

The sales package is well made and the symbol that identifies how the product was developed by very famous American physiotherapists in the sector, Bob and Brad, immediately catches the eye. Inside the box we find:

Design and features
For those unfamiliar with physical therapists Bob Schrupp and Brad Heineck, these guys have a popular YouTube channel and a bunch of wellness products that they promote and sell. The EyeOasis 2 has similar features to others on the market, but it has a lot more customization. You can basically turn each feature on and off and use them in different combinations, so if something doesn’t work for you (say, you like heat and massage, but not music) you can turn off what bothers you.
This massager combines heat and compression to provide relief for dry and tense eyes but also brings additional benefits, such as relieving migraines. Inside the mask there are two heating pads with 2 heat levels, namely 40°C and 45°C, a fundamental component for eye fatigue and dryness. Compression also has 3 different levels that combine with acupressure for guaranteed relaxation.
Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 features an elastic strap to adjust the product to your head size. This makes it versatile and shareable among family members, while inside the mask there are heating pads wrapped in a double layer of faux leather, soft to the touch and which reduces direct pressure on the bulbs. By the way, WARNING do not use the product if you have pathologies and/or problems directly or indirectly related to the eyes such as cataracts, glaucoma, recent operations, retinal problems or similar conditions. In addition, for use you must remove glasses and contact lenses.
The design is foldable for transport and use wherever you want, but above all the central folding flap allows it to adhere better to the shape of the face. The mask is quite silent, only 45 dBA, which does not disturb those around you and therefore you could also use the product before falling asleep to accompany the sleep phase. On the lower right profile there is the Type-C input for charging the integrated battery which on EyeOasis 2 allows you to reach about 14 uses (2 massages per day) before running out. Of course, the real autonomy also depends on the functions you enable, whether you use heat, Bluetooth etc.. By default, the system is set to turn off automatically at the end of each massage cycle, which lasts 15 minutes. Charging takes about 2,5 hours.
Finally, let's talk about the buttons, 4 in total arranged in a diamond shape on the left side of the mask (right when used), which are easily accessible even when using the product thanks to raised icons, in addition to the presence of a voice that confirms what we are doing.

Performances
I charged the EyeOasis 2 and put it on for my first eye massage. I used it in the simplest mode, which combines a bit of meditative music, massage and heat at the lowest setting. Over the days I tested all the massage modes combining different heat and intensity, 4 available, with the result that with each massage session I really felt more relaxed. The gadget can be a bit heavy at base, but during the 15 minute massage cycle, it doesn't cause any discomfort and above all by acting with the adjustment strap, it doesn't fall off my head.
So you can take a 15-minute break from work, even while sitting at your desk and tilting your head back. I really liked the heat and compression of the temples, which combine in different modes in a single session, acting on multiple points, such as the temples and eyes. There are no cleaning instructions, but the soft leatherette panel inside can be cleaned with a cloth.
Also great is the possibility of making the massage experience even more pleasant by using the white noises present in the system, but if necessary, you can connect your smartphone via Bluetooth to listen to what you like, such as podcasts, playlists or language lessons. You shouldn't expect much from the small integrated speakers, but overall they do their job well, but if you really want to be an audiophile even in this circumstance, you can always use Bluetooth headphones, considering that the ear remains free and not covered by the mask. Personally, I think that most people buy these masks for the massage, not for the speaker. Both the compression and the heat do not cause any problems even for more sensitive skin, only the heat causes a slight redness in the contact area, which disappears very quickly. I don't suffer from migraines, but every now and then I have headaches caused by stress or tension, and the eye massager has helped me immensely in these cases. I also noticed an unexpected benefit, which is that the lines and wrinkles on my forehead became noticeably smoother, likely due to the relaxation of the underlying muscles.
Final houghts
Bob and Brad EyeOasis 2 brings only advantages and benefits. The product allows you to revitalize tired eyes, improves blood circulation by relieving fatigue. Excellent for those who work many hours in front of a monitor, ideal for beauty as it reduces swelling of bags under the eyes and gives a more compact and toned skin. We also have positive effects for migraines, reducing the intensity of pain, the frequency of symptom manifestation and finally it also helps to increase the hours and quality of sleep, decreasing night awakenings. Benefits also for the pockets, considering a price around 60 euros directly on Amazon, where there is also the version with remote control. A decidedly infinitesimal price if compared to massage sessions by a professional. I will buy another one, because I fight over it every day with my wife and what are you waiting for to buy it?
