On these digital pages we have seen many solutions to modernize our car, but today we see one that offers as a peculiarity a beautiful fully laminated IPS touch screen of 8,9 inches with resolution 1920×720 at 60FPS with support for CarPlay and Android Auto wireless. I am talking about CarpodGo T3 Pro, the new product of the brand that has long offered quality solutions for cars, allowing you to modernize dated cars and even without a car radio, with the only essential requirement for use, the presence of a cigarette lighter socket for power.

Design and construction
The CarpodGo T3 Pro has a sleek and modern design, with a fully laminated display that offers a clean and sophisticated look. The device is solidly built, with high-quality materials that ensure durability and resistance to daily wear and tear. The IPS panel ensures excellent visibility from different angles, making the interface easy to read even in bright light, but we'll analyze it better in the next paragraph.

The product stands out for its clean lines as it is devoid of any buttons. To turn it on, simply connect it to the power supply with a cigarette lighter socket that also integrates a button to turn off the device and a USB-A port for charging devices such as smartphones. On the back of the display we then find the various inputs such as the Type-C charging input, AUX input, AV-IN for connecting the rear camera, microphone and finally an additional Type-C input that via the appropriate adapter allows you to connect a USB stick, but only for updating the firmware and not for reading multimedia content.

Another outstanding aspect of the CarpodGo T3 Pro is the versatile attachment system, either via windshield suction cup or via dashboard bracket, counting in any case on a magnetic force of the support, which reaches 8 kg, ensuring an exceptionally solid hold, essential to keep the device stable and safe even when driving on rough roads or in conditions of intense movement. The system can therefore be easily installed on any surface of the dashboard or windshield, ensuring stability and visibility without compromising the interior aesthetics of the vehicle. The magnetic attachment is truly a turning point for those, like me, who need to remove it in many situations at risk of theft.

Display and interface
But without a doubt the CarpodGo T3 Pro's strong point par excellence is its 8,9-inch IPS touch screen, with a resolution of 1920×720 at 60FPS, with a 16:6 format, thin profiles and maximum brightness of up to 700 nits. We also find an integrated automatic brightness adjustment sensor based on how much direct light the monitor receives as well as the ability to automatically switch from day to night mode, choosing the time range. The image quality is excellent, very fluid, with vivid colors and sharp details. The full lamination technology reduces reflections and improves touch sensitivity, offering a fluid and responsive user experience. The interface is intuitive and well organized, facilitating access to all the main functions.

The integrated Linux-based operating system allows for an almost instantaneous start-up, with activation times of around 16 seconds, allowing users to quickly access functions such as CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly. Flaws? Hard to find, honestly, perhaps only the imperfect oleophobic treatment. But we are talking about a detail, also because fingerprints remain but as average, nothing exaggerated. And the brightness never disappoints, in any condition.

Connectivity and functionality
As mentioned, the CarpodGo T3 Pro supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly, allowing for seamless integration with your smartphone. This allows for easy access to calls, messages, maps, and music apps without having to physically connect your phone. Additionally, the device offers a Bluetooth “display-only” mode, which allows you to use the screen to display phone information without transmitting audio, useful for those who want to use their car audio system.

As for the audio, however, we have the possibility of using the integrated speakers of the device, or conveying the audio via AUX or via FM Radio. A nice thing in terms of customization is the choice of the vehicle logo to display at startup, allowing you to maintain an aesthetic consistent with the car brand.

Performance and usability
The performance of the CarpodGo T3 Pro is impressive. The device offers smooth content playback, with a refresh rate of 60fps that guarantees a visual experience without interruptions. The system is responsive and shows no signs of lag, even when using multiple applications at the same time. Bluetooth calls also occur flawlessly, without delays and with excellent reception from the system's microphone, ensuring a clear and crystal-clear conversation with our interlocutor even when we are on the move.

A separate mention must be made of the rear camera. This will only work if you connect it to the power supply taken from the car's reverse gear, so it is an operation that is preferable to have a professional carry out. In practice, you need to connect the red wire of the rear camera to the wire of the reverse light bulb, so that the camera activates and shows on the screen what is framed as soon as you put the reverse gear in. In any case, not having the possibility of inserting micro SD cards, the rear camera will only be used to view the rear of the car, perhaps for parking, a bit like what happens with modern cars, also having the yellow guidelines available. Finally, a mention of the possibility of updating the firmware, which the company regularly releases at least every 2/3 months, improving from time to time the stability of the Android Auto / CarPlay connection and any bugs. Just download the firmware inside a USB stick formatted in FAT32 and access the appropriate item within the CarpodGo T3 Pro system to start the update automatically.

Conclusions
The CarpodGo T3 Pro has a really sleek design that will fit perfectly into most car interiors and the fully laminated 60fps screen is fantastic quality and definitely one of the nicest I've seen. The user interface is almost minimalistic in design and again, it's probably one of the best and fastest I've tried, with no lag whatsoever. It's currently priced at £239,99 on Amazon, where you can redeem a £22 voucher that brings the price down to just £217,99. Alternatively, you can purchase directly from the manufacturer's website which ships worldwide and which by redeeming a 50 dollar discount, registering via email, brings the final price to 201,98 euros with free shipping and optional accessories included.
The only negative point, but maybe the company with its updates will solve or better integrate what I'm about to tell you, is the absence of a phone mirroring function that would have allowed you to watch multimedia content on YouTube or IPTV, taking advantage of the goodness of this sublime display.
