What do you think of this dual display Mi Mix? Who is he?

This morning we told you how Xiaomi is thinking about her folding smartphone. Given the large number of patents filed by the brand, we do not know neither when, nor which foldable will present the Chinese giant, let alone know IF you will present them in the near future. What we do know is that the internet is full of maps and patents and among these there is also that of a I mix dual displays which will turn up many of you, because of the similarity (too much) with the latest arrival at Apple, the iPhone 11.

What do you think of this dual display Mi Mix? Is it really him?

This patent, shared by Slashleaks, shows us how it could be the first Xiaomi dual screen. But before showing it to you, we would like to stress that in no way do these images represent with certainty what the real smartphone will be. Moreover, even if this patent were true, it is not to be counted that the device depicted is actually built but above all there is no guarantee that it is the 4 Mi Mix.

I mix dual displays

What catches your eye? Yes, that's right quadruple camera set in the upper left quadrant, just like iPhone 11. But let's start with the front: the display turns out to be a full screen true, not contaminated in any way by notch in the upper part nor so much in the lower part (let us remember the Mi Mix 2 with the camera at the bottom). But here we see the camera icon: where is it then? This could be the first device, as well as dual screen, with camera under the display. The forehead as well as the chin (from the English terms) are extremely thin but in any case on the forehead we find the proximity sensor and the one for the notification light.

The fundamental trait of this concept phone, because for now this is what it is, is the dual display. This, unlike other smartphones, it only takes a small portion of the rear shell, especially the one on the right of the cameras. Here we only see the timetable but it is clear that it will be possible to see all the notifications and possibly even answer them. Between the camera and the second display, slightly lower we find the flash which, according to the measure, should be a dual flash.

Final conclusions: I personally believe that if this is really the design of Xiaomi's device, the brand will lose credibility in the world telephony panorama. For this advice with all my heart to take this patent with pliers. Although it is now difficult to create a smartphone with distinctive features, trying to emulate those of other brands is never good. Even if it is nicknamed "the Chinese Apple".
