How is the TABLET A 0€ from TEMU going?

There is no point in beating around the bush, we have seen the many promises of TEMU to give away products in a dedicated article, they are fake. But if you fall for it, what do you get? Let's discover together the tablet received for ZERO euros.

To be honest, with other tests dedicated to Temu's zero-euro products, I found them good, such as for example the mirror dash cam for car or other gadgets but for this tablet, we are not there at all. And this will be my first super flash review, as there is no point in beating around the bush. The zero euro tablet from TEMU is a crazy piece of crap as FANTOZZI would say. That's the best definition I can give for this product. Basically I don't criticize the tablet itself but rather the non-transparent way in which the Chinese shop tries to tempt users into purchasing products to reach a spending threshold for which they can get free tech products, often sponsored by fluff guru influencers.

That said, I will try to briefly tell you about the zero-euro tablet from TEMU, which goes by the name of TAB 10 Lite from the PRITOM brand, and I am telling you about it because I have noticed that this brand of tablet often appears on AliExpress and Amazon. So stay away from it. The sales package is not very rich but classic for this category of products: inside you will find the charger with a 10W output, the data cable, a small user manual and a film to protect the glass of dubious quality.

It's all plastic, not well made, although I didn't notice any creaking. The feeling isn't the best and the display frames aren't at all contained. We find a double stereo speaker whose performance is disappointing, with over-the-top mid-highs and practically non-existent bass. We have a micro SD slot for memory expansion and the Type-C connector for charging. Speaking of charging, I would like to point out a serious fact: after having charged the tablet for the first time, with its charger and cable, at the height of the USB input, the tablet began to overheat in a worrying way, so much so that it melted part of the plastic body.

To unlock the tablet we have the classic Pin/Pattern available or we can use the Unlock Face that in low light conditions struggles to recognize our face. The display is a 10,1-inch panel, IPS with HD resolution 1280×800 pixels, 151ppi at 60 Hz. Poor viewing angles and brightness not up to expectations. Widevine L1 DRM is absent but only level 3, so forget about streaming content in high definition, even on YouTube, since with videos played at 1080p 60fps, these tend to block on some frames.

In terms of hardware, we find a quadcore processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, the AllWinner A133, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage of the eMMC 5.0 type while the graphics are entrusted to the PowerVR Rogue GE8300 GPU. An old solution with very poor performance, even for simple games like Fruit Ninja. The battery has a capacity of 6000 mAh which offers a battery life that is difficult to establish, since once it reaches around 20% of the residual charge, it begins to drop dramatically, discharging in a few minutes. In short, unreliable.

The system is based on Android 12 with patches updated to February 2025, but forget about any kind of update. No software customization and do not try to do it with third-party apps, because the apps in general run in slow motion. Slow openings, often at risk of jamming. Even when trying to install the only system update received, weighing a few MB, the tablet is unable to complete the action. The WiFi 6, at least that's what the manufacturer claims, also often loses the signal and struggles to connect even in well-covered areas of the house.

I would like to point out the presence of a 2 MP cam on both the back and the front, the quality of which is rather questionable. It is true that tablets are not used to photograph landscapes or immortalize memories of the heart, but with the zero euro tablet from TEMU we will not be able to sustain a decent video call nor photograph documents without obtaining results full of noise.

I will not add anything else except that this tablet is sold on TEMU at a price of about 85 euros and passed off as a freebie under conditions that I do not want to underline again. If you are looking for a cheap, modest but high-performance tablet, you certainly should not be tempted by the promise of receiving it for free. I will therefore leave you with a valid alternative, with all the guarantees of the case, even in terms of software support.

Nerd, Geek, Netizen, terms that do not belong to me. Simply myself, technology lover and provocative as Xiaomi does with his products. High quality at fair prices, a real provocation for the other most famous brands.
