DALL-E 3 available on ChatGPT for free without subscription
One of the most interesting features of DALL-E 3 is its integration with ChatGPT, which allows the virtual assistant to independently suggest the necessary prompts (as well as editing images) for creating images. This represents a notable step forward in terms of accessibility and ease of use, making image generation accessible to everyone, even those who have no experience in formulating specific prompts.
OpenAI said the imaging functionality with DALL-E 3 is rolling out gradually, but many users may already have access to it.
The OpenAI day was full of news and developments. In addition to the DALL-E 3 announcement, the company released a safety assessment of his GPT-4o model and welcomed a new member to its board of directors. Additionally, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, received a letter from a group of Democratic members of Congress, demanding answers regarding the company's security measures.
The integration of DALL-E 3 free with ChatGPT represents a significant step forward in the field of artificial intelligence applied to image generation. As renowned digital artist Mike Winkelmann, better known as Beeple, pointed out, “Generative AI is democratizing creativity, offering anyone the chance to bring their visual ideas to life.”
As with any disruptive technology, it will be essential to address the issues here too ethical and safety issues related to the use of these powerful artificial intelligence tools.
