The packaging is the classic one of the brand, aesthetically refined and featuring some key specifications of the product, inside which we find:

Design and construction
The design can be defined as futuristic, by means of a transparent case that allows a glimpse of a carbon effect texture in addition to the two earphones housed in their charging compartment, also with a transparent aesthetic, but this time on them it is possible to glimpse the electronic components of which they are composed. The lid, completely transparent, somehow integrates the hall sensor, for immediate pairing of the headphones to the last associated device. The hinge is excellent and seemed really solid and convincing to me. SoundPeats Clear Dot is not only a technological device, but also a fashion accessory.
The earphones are of the in-ear type, that is, with the rubber that fits into the auricle and have a capsule shape, resulting discreet once worn as well as being comfortable and stable. There is a touch surface to give commands, marked by the brand logo but on the body of the capsules there is also a double microphone. Everything has been made with good quality plastics that transmit a solid and satisfying touch & feel, above the average of the price range. The comfort of use is guaranteed by the 3 sizes of rubber tips present, and once you find the one that suits you, you will have a pair of stable earphones in your ears that do not tend to fall out even during a run or physical activity. I have used them for many hours a day, in different contexts, from driving in the car to walking at an intense pace, and I have never felt any discomfort whatsoever. Among other things, the rubber tips are very good for obtaining good passive isolation. There is also the IPX5 certification, against sweat, dust and even a light rain, if you love running in the wild nature. The weight of each individual earphone is only 5.2 grams which give compactness and portability, perfect for work and free time.
Connectivity
Connectivity is entrusted to Bluetooth 5.3, with a chip that is fast in pairing, stable and able to minimize latency of only 77 ms, therefore also ideal for gaming activities. There is practically no delay between speech and video, and this allows for perfect viewing of any multimedia content. This leads to the presence of the specific Game mode.
The supported codecs are the classic AAC and SBC, more than suitable for listening to music in high definition. However, Bluetooth does not allow you to pair the Clear Dot to two devices at the same time via MultiPoint technology, for example to manage music and multimedia on one device and calls on another. The automatic Play/Pause sensor is also missing. An absence that allows you to keep the final cost low and that does not affect real use: how many times have you used a pair of earphones on two devices at the same time?
Audio quality
The 10mm drivers with a composite biofiber diaphragm were a very pleasant surprise. These reproduce a well-balanced audio, very pleasant during listening thanks to full-bodied bass, present mids and balanced highs. It is a warm sound, also suitable for podcasts, Jazz and more demanding genres. Also excellent for listening to films and streaming in general net of a classic codec.

Apps and gestures
The proprietary SoundPeats application is practical and intuitive, with well-arranged menus and a welcoming interface. It identifies the pair of associated earphones as soon as it is opened, allows you to update the firmware, equalize the sound as you prefer, enable or disable the game mode, but above all it allows you to customize the command associated with the touch.
Basically we have a single, double or triple tap but also the long press gesture. On the single earphone we can associate the volume up or down control command, play/pause, game mode, skip previous or next track, call the phone's voice assistant or disable a certain gesture. Through the app we can also obtain a specific equalizer for our hearing, starting a test that will emit sounds at different frequencies, for an ad hoc calibration for our listening. The taps are recognized precisely.
Microphones and calls
The 4 on-board microphones, two for each earbud, perform above expectations. They capture clean audio with more than sufficient recording quality, even outdoors and in busy areas. We do not find a specific active noise cancellation function but the SoundPeats Clear Dot integrate a special call noise reduction algorithm, a specific AI environmental noise reduction that significantly reduces background noise, without worsening the clarity of the voice. As I often do, I tested the quality of this function in the car with the window open and adverse wind and the result obtained was that my interlocutor confirmed good audibility of the voice, making calls feasible and of a completely different quality than the average of low-cost solutions. Among the best tested on a pair of cheap true-wireless earphones.
Autonomy and recharge
Excellent autonomy of about 6 hours with a single charge, able to extend up to 27 hours in total through the recharges ensured by the case. This is a valid value for being able to take the earphones with you on a trip or on vacation without having to worry about charging, which occurs exclusively via the USB-C port, so no wireless charging. We can still use a single earphone, to significantly double the autonomy, without losing functionality.
