Among the most popular wearables, the Apple Watch series stands out, which has reached its tenth generation and certainly boasts the highest number of clones in circulation. In conjunction with the tenth anniversary of the DT No.1 brand, the company launches the DT Watch X on the market, where X stands for the number 10, like the ten years of career and like the number of the new Apple Watch. In fact, the DT Watch X is a clone of the aforementioned Apple Watch X, but only in terms of aesthetics, while in terms of functions it offers many goodies that combined with the selling price will make you go crazy.

DESIGN AND MATERIALS
DT Watch X is a square-designed smartwatch with a 2.06-inch AMOLED touchscreen display protected by a scratch-resistant tempered glass 3 times stronger than the previous generation. The bezels have also been revised, thinner by 16.5% in addition to boasting the presence of the Always On Display with the possibility of customization with 6 different wallpapers, in digital and analog.

The display resolution is 410 x 502 pixels while the brightness, although not declared in terms of nits, allows excellent readability under direct sunlight, but unfortunately we do not find the presence of an automatic adjustment sensor. The body is a single metal body with a thickness of 9.5 mm while the silicone strap is very comfortable, but also interchangeable, thus allowing the customization of the device. Since it is a clone we can find any strap compatible with 46 mm Apple Watch. There are 3 colors available: black, silver and rose gold.

As anticipated, the display is large and bright, whose AMOLED technology guarantees brilliant colors and deep blacks. On the right side we find a button and a rotating crown in addition to the presence of the microphone while on the opposite side we have a large speaker, as among the additional functions we can manage Bluetooth calls from the wrist but also more.

On the back of the case we find the sensors that are renewed with a new DA627 accelerometer and HX3918 heart rate monitor, offering greater precision in monitoring steps, heart rate and SpO2, using distinct pulse LEDs, i.e. green light for cardiac activity and red light as a pulse oximeter. We then find the magnetic pogo-pins for charging the battery, which occurs via a base that apparently leads one to think of having wireless charging, but this is not the case. The base in fact performs the function of reading the integrated memory of the DT Watch X, which boasts 3,2 GB eMMC available (not 32 GB as declared by the brand on the official website) for photos, videos, music and voice notes. On the one hand an advantage but in this way we lose the possibility of using any gadgets dedicated to Apple Watch. We do not find a certification from the company relating to diving or other but personally I took a shower with it on my wrist and it did not suffer any problems, but maybe mine was just luck.

FUNCTIONS, AUTONOMY AND APP
DT Watch X is compatible with Android and iOS thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and the WearPro app, with most of the settings and activities that can be controlled directly from the smartwatch. The system interface is proprietary and does not imitate, like other clones, that of the Apple Watch, while all the activities are entrusted to the ATS3085S chip. Through Bluetooth 5.3 we can make calls directly from the wrist, with a truly excellent call quality. In fact, the speaker offers a high listening volume without distorting and the microphone captures our voice well and clearly.

We can also query the AI voice assistant of our smartphone, obtaining a voice response directly on the watch. The integrated memory allows us to transfer music into the wearable, with the possibility of listening directly from the speaker of the same, or we can connect TWS headphones, becoming totally independent from the smartphone if we want to do outdoor workouts, without the annoyance of notifications or anything else.

Speaking of sports, we do not have a built-in GPS and the monitorable activities are few, but what destabilized me is that for all the available sports the metrics are always the same. For example, even for Yoga, a sport typically done on the spot, the interface offers step counting. On a sports level, I do not recommend DT Watch X, even if for what concerns step counting, heart rate detection and SpO2 value, the result is very precise, less so for calorie counting. The values can be monitored 24 hours a day in addition to tracking our sleep.

The smartwatch also helps in tracking breathing exercises and for women it also offers the possibility of monitoring and keeping track of their menstrual cycle. We also have the possibility of monitoring blood pressure, but you can imagine for yourself how the results obtained for this measurement are rather sketchy and improvised. We also find a series of games to play directly on the watch but also a sort of NFC, to which you can transfer business cards but not usable for payments.

Among the additional functions we also find the possibility of recording voice notes up to 2 hours, but also of viewing photos by importing them from our phone's gallery and viewing videos. I specify however that the import of photos that occurs through a specific function from the WearPro app, allows you to import one photo at a time. The transfer of MP3 music must occur only via connection to the PC as in theory for videos. I say in theory because I have tried in all ways and formats (the watch seems to read only the .AVI format) but even if the transfer occurred with recognition of the preview in the gallery, the video on the watch does not start and crashes the system, forcing us to restart.

The operating system interface is quite intuitive and is also available in Italian, whose translation is not 100% accurate, with the possibility of navigating through the menus both with the rotating crown and simply with the touchscreen. The side button, the lower one, if pressed allows you to enter the quick toggles that can be modified with respect to what is proposed by default by the system. If held down, the shutdown menu opens, with the possibility of also starting an SOS call or enabling a sort of alarm siren, to make us located in case of need. The digital crown if pressed allows you to enter the watch menu, where we find all the available functions, while if held down it allows you to quickly call up the AI voice assistant.

As for customization, instead, it is possible to choose your favorite watchface directly through the application, choosing from hundreds of skins, all free and with attractive graphics, as well as creating personal ones with photos of our choice. The watchfaces already installed by default are very beautiful, some animated while others offer different colors, acting with a simple touch on them. In this regard, if instead we double tap from the home of the watch, we obtain a 3D stereo vision effect, which offers a three-dimensional view of some functions of the watch, something that has a more aesthetic than practical function. In any case, the transition effects between the screens are nice, such as cube, flip etc.

Obviously, like any self-respecting smartwatch, DT Watch X also offers the possibility of receiving notifications from your smartphone, while the possibility of quickly answering phone calls directly from the wrist is also excellent. With a 240 mAh battery, this smartwatch also guarantees (according to the company) up to 7 days of battery life but more likely, with standard use the battery provides about 3 days of battery life, which drops to about 30 hours if we use the AOD. Charging takes about an hour and a half but we have a sort of quick charge available that with just 10 minutes offers a day of use.

The companion app, available for both Android and iOS systems, is WearPRO which unfortunately shows an advertisement at every start. Apart from this, the app is well structured in terms of functions and customization of the smartwatch. We can of course view the history of the collected data divided into specific categories, you can start a sporting activity with the help of the smartphone's GPS but also have a series of tutorials for physical exercise and sleep. Of course we can set which apps to receive notifications from, set reminders for drinking water, sedentary lifestyle, set NFC tags, quick contacts and take photos but the phone's camera app will not be used but the one included in the WearPRO app which does not allow you to record videos or use additional lenses.
PRICE AND CONSIDERATIONS
DT No.1 DT Watch X is a perfect smartwatch for those who want an Apple Watch on their wrist but don't want to spend a kidney. It is less so for sports lovers who want to accurately track their workouts, also due to the absence of GPS. However, the sensors are of a high level which, combined with the many functions offered such as listening to local music, Bluetooth calls, voice recorder, viewing photo albums in addition to the stylish design, makes this device wearable even on occasions where a touch of extra elegance is required, being able to draw on the boundless market of straps compatible with the bitten apple wearable.
The price is definitely tempting: we are talking about net of the discounts offered by the company, about 27 euros at the current exchange rate, a really honest figure also considering the presence of a beautiful and large AMOLED display. An opportunity not to be missed if you are looking for a smartwatch that is a bit of an all-rounder.
