I tested the Eleglide T2 ST, the evolution of the Eleglide trekking e-bike. Even more autonomy, an improved look and improved technical equipment. The low 44 cm step remains, making it accessible to all, but the generational leap is there and you can feel it. Here is my full review.

Assembly and package contents
The Eleglide T2 ST arrives from the European warehouse in about a week. The packaging is careful, with polystyrene protections and the bike is 90% pre-assembled. The assembly is simple: handlebars, front wheel, pedals, derailleur guard and that's it.
Included in the package:
- Electric bicycle
- Charger 42V 2A 84W
- Multilingual manual (Italian included)
- Tool kit
Always check the tightening of the screws. Vibrations due to transport cause some of the screws to loosen.
Design

The T2 ST also maintains the step-thru frame with a low standover of 49 cm, not the lowest in the category but still ideal for all ages. The design is more modern, with smoother lines and an even cleaner integration of the battery. It is only available in dark gray satin, very beautiful and elegant.

Excellent quality of welding and painting. The rear rack is sturdy, practical and supports a maximum load of 15kg. The battery is removable and protected by a lock with double key. The weight remains average (27.9 kg), well distributed.
The 3,5″ display is central, readable and IPX4 waterproof. On the left are the assistance controls, on the right the Shimano gear lever.
Performance and autonomy
The 250W motor provides 45Nm of torque, more than enough to tackle climbs of up to 15°. The assistance starts smoothly, although there is the usual slight delay of speed-sensing e-bikes.
The 5 assistance levels modulate the speed up to 25 km/h (unlockable at 32 km/h). The battery, the same as the 1Wh T468, guarantees good performance and stable autonomy.
In real tests, even with intensive use, you can reach 55-60 km. With moderate driving you can really reach the declared 90-100 km.
Comfort and safety
The adjustable and lockable front suspension fork absorbs bumps on asphalt and light off-road trails well. The 27.5″ wheels with CST road tires offer good smoothness and grip.
I hydraulic disc brakes They are a significant upgrade over the previous model, with 16 cm discs, they guarantee a firm and modulable braking. They behave well on descents, even under stress and in emergency braking.

The front and rear lights are powered by the main battery, with a rear brake function as well. This is a feature fundamental to ensure safety in every situation.
Reflectors on the spokes for extra passive visibility.
Eleglide T2 ST – Conclusions and price
The Eleglide T2 ST is a successful evolution of the T1 ST. It retains its advantages — comfort, accessibility, ease of use — while improving its braking, design, and battery integration. It's a city bike with a light trekking soul, perfect for commuters, seniors, or those looking for a reliable bike for weekend rides.
