EMUI 13 swipe up gesture app
This feature had already been made available with HarmonyOS 2 but had not arrived with EMUI 12. Now it will be available with EMUI 13, also known as a snippet.
Service Widgets
EMUI 13 introduces service widgets which are tabs on the home screen for direct access to the app's features. Widgets come in different sizes to best fit your screen layout.
Overlay and groups widgets
How many times have you wanted to put so many widgets without taking up too much space on your screens? EMUI 13 allows you to stack widgets! Only one space used, more widgets available! Better organizing your screens will now be much easier making the layout much cleaner and more accessible.
Smart folders
EMUI 13 goes to further improve this feature introduced in the previous version: now your smart folders are resizable to your liking!
Drag-to-share
Great news also for content sharing: EMUI 13 introduces the "Drag to share" feature: take a text, an image, a file and drag it into the new "SuperHub" to be able to share all the content you have chosen together! SuperHub is nothing more than a "container" for everything you want to share, a really good convenience that will save you a lot of time.
SuperDevices
Quickly connect your devices? EMUI 13 provides SuperDevice! A simple gesture to quickly connect and access the functions of your devices!
Multi-screen
Already present on the previous version but further improved: EMUI 13 provides the new horizontal window mode, allowing you to open the app in a large horizontal window, thus improving its use and viewing
Multi camera
Have you ever wanted to see the scene you're filming from another angle? or want to use another camera for your video chat? This is now finally possible by accessing the camera of another device you have connected to!
Music sharing
To complete the sharing features, with EMUI 13 finally we can share the music we are listening to on multiple devices!
SuperStorage
The space available on our devices, although increasing, never seems to be enough. EMUI 13 with the new SuperStorage feature it allows you to optimize space even further, by compressing the least used apps or identifying and merging duplicate files or even eliminating duplicate downloads, thus allowing you to recover even 20GB of space!
Privacy and Security
Very hot topic in all industries: EMUI 13 takes care of your privacy with the new control panel that allows you to clearly view which apps access your personal information and thus be able to quickly manage permissions.
As far as safety is concerned, with device protection active, EMUI 13 will automatically scan your device to protect it from threats, viruses, malware and unwanted app behavior. Your safety will always come first!
Photo security
Want to share your photos while hiding sensitive information from others? EMUI 13 provides this new feature: by enabling it, you will hide sensitive information from your photo such as the location, time and model with which it was taken.
