Exclusive: Xiaomi Hongmi 1S unboxing in Italian

The Xiaomi Hongmi 1S (or Redmi 1S) corresponds to the updated version of the previous Hongmi, the Xiaomi entry level smartphone with the quad-core chipset Mediatek MT6589T. The new Xiaomi home appliance has some interesting new features compared to the previous model, with the addition of the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset.

Furthermore, we remind you that the staff of Xiaomishop.it on all the phones in its store, including the Xiaomi Hongmi 1S, install a completely Italian version of the MIUI V5 (based on Android 4.3) and the Google Play Store. The sample we are testing has not yet received this update, but Xiaomishop.it has assured us that all those shipped to customers will be complete with PlayStore and Italian language.
The Hongmi 1S shares the design of the previous Hongmi of which in ours Full review published a few months ago, we have already had the opportunity to appreciate the quality of the construction materials and, more generally, of the assembly.
Obviously, having said that the new Hongmi 1S has been realized when it comes to the same body of the previous model seems almost superfluous to dwell on these aspects. However, it is useful to emphasize that Xiaomi continues to deny it, offering a very high level of quality in all its productions, even in low-cost price ranges, such as Xiaomi Hongmi 1S.
As far as display equipment is concerned, Xiaomi on the new Hongmi 1S used the same HD panel with diagonal 4.7 inches and 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.

Confirmed RAM (1GB), while internal storage has been doubled to 8GB, so a storage space amount that may now be sufficient for most uses.
