At the end of July we talked about Game Turbo, the game tuner dedicated exclusively to Xiaomi mi 10 ultra. This feature was created only for this device as it is the only one to support it. It is a sophisticated one tuning system to make a game perform better, obviously based on user preferences. Very often games have integrated the possibility of setting quality parameters such as "standard","planet"and "Max“: With this feature instead each parameter can be customized. But with what result? We see in these photographs the before and after of this modification.
Here's how a game changes with Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra's Game Turbo by Qualcomm: better than that just a console or a PC
Clearly Game Turbo goes directly to the GPU, in charge of giving maximum performance at the time of the game session. As we have seen previously, once you log into the game you will be given the option to set the parameters we want from within the application. Obviously there is also the possibility of setting the performance according to pre-established standards, as we see on the right of the image below. We know what each of these terms means, but how do they behave in reality? We have screenshots that show us the results of the tuning and therefore of the customization. In this case the game is the known PUBG or “Peace Elite” in China), one of the heaviest at the moment on any application store. Anti-aliasing

Notice the skin color and shades as they look best. The most prepared will know that this anti-aliasing filter is used to remove what in the jargon they call "dog teeth", or jagged edges.
Anisotropic filter
This second type of filter instead serves to solve the problem "blur". When the game is rendered in 3D, there is a danger that i models appear blurry and frozen based on the angle of inclination. Below is an example: al 1X level you see i colors that are not faded but that change sharply: note the lawn as it changes from dark green to military green in a clear manner. Look at the 16X level how the situation changes: each blade of grass has its own color with its own nuances. This filter, indirectly, is also used for improve the player's view: A soldier lying on the ground will more easily hit another soldier if he can see through the blades of grass.
Game Turbo Texture filtering
As the word suggests this filter increases or decreases the quality of the texture of the images. Ultimately we will see less "pixelated" details and therefore more defined texture of the pictures will be better. This parameter is a bit of a pitfall since as quality increases, there is a lowering of frames per second. A scrupulous study is therefore necessary when applying, as if you want a fluid game you should not overdo it in setting this filter.
Having said that, we don't know if this feature will also arrive for European flagships. In any case we look forward to both this and the arrival of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra in our country.
