Unfortunately, being of a certain age, I have witnessed the evolution of personal computers from "monoliths" with CPUs that could perhaps do 100 calculations per minute to the current quantum PCs. Many things have changed over time, the HW has obviously been overturned but the dimensions of a desktop case have always, more or less, remained the same. In recent years, however, fortunately, increasingly smaller and more powerful personal computers have been developed MINI PC.
In the early days, mini PCs were products so distant from classic desktop PCs that a comparison was unthinkable, as was the idea of buying one to replace your desktop PC. But over time this GAP has become increasingly narrow and today we can find devices that at a hardware level have nothing to envy of their "big brothers". One of these is the case of Geekom IT13, a mini PC with multiple HW configurations, all really high-performance and with a very high quality-price ratio. AESTHETICS and I/O
Aesthetically it is truly beautiful, absolutely promoted! The upper part is clean with only the gray brand logo on a gray or light blue background depending on how the light hits it, a wonderful iridescent effect.
The entire frame is made of aluminum alloy, also excellent for dispersing heat, including the upper and lower covers. Below we find 4 external screws to open it, 4 internal screws to install a 2.5″ SATA hard disk and the VESA attachment to fix it to a suitable monitor (via a dedicated support present in the package).

Not being a gamer I can't give you significant opinions in the gaming sector but as mentioned before, a mini PC is certainly not the best product for lovers of the genre. overall, obviously, you can't compare it to laptops that cost €2000 or desktops whose single video card costs as much as the entire mini PC... so if your focus is this, go for something else, with the logical fivefold economic outlay. But if the games you play don't require raw video card power and absurd frame rates then you won't have any problems in this sector either.
In my video editing tests, which I carry out with Vegas Pro when I have to edit video reviews, I noticed an improvement in the order of 40% compared to my Xiaomi Laptop Pro (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.00 GHz with 16Gb of RAM), which is now a few years old but is a product that cost around €1800 on the list. I must be absolutely satisfied as in normal conditions not even the fan will start and under strain it will start for a few seconds and the noise is very low. Well, the answer is very simple and always the same... a mini PC occupies 1/10 of the space of a classic desktop PC and above all consumes about 1/10 compared to a desktop PC (on average 40W compared to 300W of a desktop). Nowadays, with the exorbitant costs of electricity, I would say that it is a calculation to absolutely take into consideration.
The other question that only you can answer is: "How do I use the PC?". Well, if the answer is: "work, office package, entertainment, web, audio-video, social media and some games" then a mini PC is definitely your solution. If, however, you are a "serial" gamer or have to work with video and audio editing at a professional level then it is perhaps better to go for something more powerful (naturally at radically different costs). Not being a gamer, I cannot give exhaustive judgments on this topic, but I stick to the hardware characteristics of the device (especially the video card) and I think I can say that if your focus is not overly demanding games, with absurd frame rates, then you could try it. The same goes for video editing... as in my case, the use of Vegas and rendering in FullHD at 60fps is really excellent.
