The next update that will be made available for the Google Phone app is expected to offer a dialer renewed. Material You's design is essentially the same as the Android 12 lock screen on Pixel phones. This gives us a prominent border for each button of the dialer, in contrast to the current design, which has no borders around each button. Moreover, each button has a small animation almost identical to the one used on the Android 12 lock screen, with a tap on the button that radiates towards the edges.
