The team of ParanoidAndroid we officially release our system for the OnePlus One, the famous ROM based on the latest version of KitKat i.e. the 4.4.4 and all the features that introduce this custom ROM ie Hover, Floor, Peek etc. .. now you can install it on your home phone OnePlus officially supported by the team of Paranoidsince you are limited only you have Nexus di Google they decided to make an exception and add a phone to their list. In this guide we will explain how to install it on yours ONE.
Before you start, here are the files you need for the guide:
- The latest zip file of the ROM you can download , here
- The full Google Apps file that you can download , here
To properly run the guide you need to have on your OnePlus One:
- ROOT permissions and custom recovery
Now we can proceed with the installation:
- Download the ROM and Google Apps and put them in the internal memory of our OnePlus One
- Making a backup is always recommended (but not mandatory)
- Go into recovery mode
- Make full wipe: 1) Wipe data / factory reset 2) Wipe cache partition 3 Wipe dalvik cache
- Fleshare ROM and Google Apps (going to "install zip" and then choose zip files from fleshare)
- reboot
If you want to manually update a ROM manually without using the Paranoid OTA you just need:
- Download the latest version of ROM
- Go into recovery mode
- Only wipe: 1) Wipe cache partition 2) Wipe dalvik cache
- Filling the ROM
- reboot
