DESIGN, COMFORT AND BATTERY LIFE
While there was once a rush to find earphones similar to the Apple style, for some time now the idea of wearing “clone” headphones has been abandoned, giving priority to real performance. Distinguished by a case that boasts a refined and elegant design, the Mori Pro earphones offer a decidedly snug fit to the ear, counting on an ergonomic in-ear design that reduces the load on the ears as well as boasting a design studied for outdoor sports, ensuring clear listening free from wind noise.
Comfortable to wear, so much so that you could even keep them on to fall asleep listening to good music. The Haylou Mori Pro offer a touch surface on the upper part of the stem with which to give commands, but I'll talk about that later, as well as the presence of 6 microphones (3 for each earpiece) for ultra-clear conversations, capable of eliminating surrounding noise during calls. The stems extend from the drivers, which are small in size and do not weigh down the face, resulting in being quite discreet.
Also on the stems we find the magnetic pogo pins for charging the earphones that integrate a 35 mAh battery. In this regard, at volumes of about 80%, the earphones last about 5 hours on a single charge, while the case provides an additional 5 charges, thus bringing the overall autonomy to 35 hours in total, based on a 400 mAh battery that is also recharged via a USB Type-C cable, but no wireless charging. Charging takes about 1,5 hours for the headphones while 2 hours are needed for the case.
We do not have any specifications regarding any IPXX certification, therefore resistance to water and dust, but I personally happened to wear them while running on the treadmill and during a walk in the light rain, so if I'm talking to you about it, it's because the Haylou Mori Pro have resisted. Thanks to the silicone rubber tips (supplied in the package with additional spare pairs with different sizes to better adapt them), the headphones will always remain stable inside the ears, even during sports activities or more hectic than expected.
I liked the charging case so-so in terms of materials, apparently cheap, as it is subject to getting dirty and scratched easily. For the rest, the shape is pebble and on the front we have a single monochrome LED that attests the charge status, while on the back is positioned the Type-C charging port. The lid closes quite robustly also counting on a reliable magnet, but there is no hall sensor, so the headphones will pair with the smartphone only when they are out of their seat. Then, in the space between the two earphones, there is a button that allows you to reset the headphones to factory state.
CONTROLS AND CONNECTIVITY
The controls of Haylou Mori Pro are touch type and quite complete. In fact we cannot call up the voice assistant of our phone in any way but apart from that the touch recognition reactivity is definitely reliable. The commands are made by means of a long press, double or triple tap, being able to manage play/pause, skip forward or back, volume control, call up the low latency mode or switch between the ANC/Transparency/Natural listening modes. The basic commands can however be customized via the companion app, deciding based on your convenience which command to associate with the double/triple tap or long press.
Of course, the touch controls can also be used for calls, so answering, hanging up and rejecting a call. In addition, there is no sensor for automatic play/pause when you remove the earphone from your ear, but we cannot expect much given the selling price and personally I prefer it this way, since Haylou has concentrated everything on the audio quality that these Mori Pro are able to return. For the connection to the smartphone, a latest-generation Bluetooth 5.4 is used, which offers stability, reliability and reduced latency, up to 10 meters even at home with guaranteed compatibility with both Android and iOS. Speaking of latency, this comes to a value of only 60ms, for perfect audio/video synchronization even for gaming.
There is also a gem that is hard to find in this price range: the multipoint connection, which allows you to answer a call while watching a movie on your computer, for example, and switch freely between work and entertainment.
CALLS AND MULTIMEDIA
I mentioned the game mode, but to be honest I have not looked into this aspect in depth as I am not a great gamer, but I can say that in the use of multimedia content in general, such as TV series, I have always noticed a perfect sync between audio and video. Haylou for its Mori Pro has developed an advanced audio processing algorithm that reduces any distortions, for listening to music as if we were at a concert.
For calls in general, the voice is always clear and crystalline, easily audible to our interlocutor even in very noisy environments and/or in the presence of wind. The 3 microphones supplied for each earphone have no trouble suppressing ambient noise, even in situations with a headwind. I fully promote them, because they are more than valid for calls in the car, at the gym, at the shopping center but above all I liked the basic profile with which the Mori Pro come out of the package, returning an excellent balance between low tones, decidedly rich and full-bodied, without unbalancing the other medium-high tones.
Tested with all musical genres, the Haylou solution convinces especially in genres that push on drums and bass in general, such as electronic music. This does not mean that we cannot appreciate genres such as jazz, on the contrary, the highs and mids are in perfect harmony with the full-bodied bass. The listening volume is also quite high and at the maximum level the sounds do not distort. In short, the music listened to always has a clear audio, such as to allow you to differentiate the various instruments present in a track and the various effects coming from the right and left channels.
The already excellent opinion I have is completed by the presence of transparency mode and ANC mode, with active noise cancellation up to -43 dB. Unlike other economic models, the Mori Pro do not change the final quality of listening to music or video, therefore even with ANC we will benefit from the best quality but isolating ourselves from certain contexts such as the subway, the plane and all those situations in which external noises could interrupt our mood.
Last but not least, there is a companion app available for both iOS and Android systems, which allows you to view the remaining battery charge in percentage terms, manage the ANC/Transparency/Normal modes, set audio presets (5 available) but unfortunately there is no EQ, but above all we can customize the touch controls, set a sleep mode that basically deactivates the touch functions, search for the headphones by making them play a high-frequency sound and finally update the firmware if Haylou releases one in the future.

Haylou Mori Pro – Price and Conclusions
Haylou's proposal in the TWS field is undoubtedly valid, as are other products already seen here on the blog. There are probably many valid alternatives in circulation, which sometimes also offer additional features, such as wireless charging, but it is difficult to find a rival of these Mori Pro at the same price. The brand is a guarantee but above all it will repay you over time, as the battery after 1/2 years will not show signs of failure and therefore the investment made today will not force you to change product in a few months, as long as you are not a super geek who loves to try every type of headphones on the market. Let's get to the price: at the moment they are in pre-order on the official website, at the launch price of only $ 19,99 but there are only a few pieces available before the price list goes up to $ 23,99, in any case a competitive price. Don't let them get away, also in view of the next Christmas gifts.
