As many of you know, Xiaomi, is also known for weekly updates that are made on most of its devices.
These weekly updates, called "Weekly Update", do not relate to Miui's particularly stable versions, but are simple updates created to give a preview of what will be the stable monthly update for Xiaomi dissipative.
These updates are also called "developer updates" precisely because these are updates dedicated to the developers of the external Miui team, in order to improve the apps and allow greater compatibility between Miui / app / phone.
Some Xiaomi devices do not enjoy these weekly updates, and only receive, once a month, the stable version of the ROM that is devoid of bugs or lags of some kind.
For Xiaomi Mi3 today the stable version of the ROM has finally arrived, the first version based on Android KitKat 4.4.2.

How do I install it? Simple:
We will use the classic procedure, using the "Update" app already installed on our Mi3.
- So let's download the link above the rom
- We transfer the rom, or download it directly from the phone to the internal memory of the device.
- we go into "Update"
- select the installation package
- And "we're dead" on Update Now
After a few minutes the system will ask for the reboot to access the new installed rom.

hi I wanted to know if before installing the rom I have to rename the file in update.zip. and also this rom I can install it regardless of which miui I have at the moment? I have a mi3 xiaomi with the miui v6 4.8.29. Thanks in advance.
