Honor 90 series arriving on May 29: it will have a record-breaking screen with 3840Hz PWM dimming

The former sub-brand of Huawei, Honor, just announced that the upcoming Honor 90 series will be released at 14:30 on May 29. As revealed by the brand, the new device will bring some huge improvements in screen and video quality.

In addition, Honor CEO Zhao Ming today announced that the Honor 90 series will be the first in the world to adopt a screen with “zero-risk dimming eye protection”. In other words, the screen on board the Honor 90 will support a 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming.

Still on the screen, it has been reported that the Honor 90 series will be equipped with one 6,78-inch four-curve OLED screen and with a peak brightness of 1600 nits, 1,07 billion colors and supports an ultra dynamic color display mode.

At the same time, as just mentioned, this will be the industry's first 3840Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming display. The panel also has the TÜV Rheinland flicker-free certification and received the VICO A+ rating in the Chinese institute eye comfort test. Finally, as if that weren't enough, the display on board the Honor 90 series will also have a special mode that "helps you sleep".

As for other specs, we currently know that the Honor 90 Pro will be equipped with a 200 megapixel main camera, along with a 32 megapixel portrait telephoto lens.

In terms of autonomy and recharging, theHonor 90 Pro will be equipped with one built-in 5000 mAh battery and will support 90W fast charging.

In any case, we just have to wait poco less than a week to find out all the other specifications, but above all the price at which the device will be sold in China.
