With one thickness of only 9.2-9.3mm and a weight of 226-230g, depending on the color, the Honor Magic V3 does not sacrifice battery life or charging speed, despite its small size.
The disassembly video shows that most of the phone's internal components have been designed to be as thin as possible. For example, the wireless charging coil has a thickness of only 0.25mm, including heat dissipation film. The internals of the device are a combination of metal and plastic, a mix that balances strength and weight.
An interesting aspect of the internal design is the camera module. Contrary to the trend, the periscope module is thicker than the one found in the Huawei Mate X5. However, it is important to note that the thickness of the camera module is not included in the overall thickness of the phone, as is the case with all manufacturers.
The battery of the Honor Magic V3 is divided into two cells: one with 3,130mAh and one with 2,020mAh. Both cells are surprisingly thin, with thicknesses of 2.8mm and 2.4mm respectively. These batteries use Honor's internally developed E1 chip, which handles charging and protection functions.
The Honor Magic V3 was launched in China on July 19 and will be released outside the Asian country soon.
