With a revolutionary design, it is the world's thinnest and lightest inward foldable smartphone and introduces cutting-edge technological innovations, such as the world's first 6.100mAh silicon-carbon battery with 25% silicon content, already in mass production (battery available only in China for the model with 1TB of internal memory).

HONOR Magic V5: Slim and durable design for a new foldable experience
With a thickness of only 8,8mm and a minimum weight of 217g, HONOR Magic V5 represents a new benchmark in terms of portability and design in foldable devices. This achievement is the result of HONOR's constant pursuit of engineering excellence, supported by an intelligent production system based on artificial intelligence. The result is a reliable structure, almost free of visible creases, and a fluid and refined user experience.
It is IP58 and IP59 certified for dust and water resistance. Thanks to the internal carbon fiber reinforced panel and the scratch-resistant NanoCrystal glass on the outside, it guarantees extraordinary robustness against impacts and scratches. Inside, an additional carbon fiber layer with a deformation resistance of 380GPa ensures impact protection. The HONOR Super Steel Hinge, with a tensile strength of 2.300MPa, completes the structure, offering a stable and durable folding mechanism.
With a 7,95” internal display designed for multitasking and a 6,43” external display for quick access to essential functions, the HONOR Magic V5 is designed to enhance your daily productivity.
Innovation in battery with silicon-carbon technology
HONOR Magic V5 introduces the industry-first HONOR Silicon-Carbon 6.100mAh battery, exclusive to the 1TB model. This is the first high-density silicon battery (25%) produced on an industrial scale, with a record energy density of 901Wh/L.
Combined with the HONOR E2 Power Enhanced Chip and SoC voltage regulator, it ensures superior efficiency, safety and thermal performance. It also supports HONOR SuperCharge 66W wired and 50W wireless charging for fast and flexible charging.

The new HONOR foldable's AI Falcon camera system integrates a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide angle. Together, advanced optics and cutting-edge AI deliver clear, detailed and professional photos and videos in any situation.

Based on MagicOS 9.0.1, the new HONOR Magic V5 embraces the era of autonomous AI. The brand new foldable will be available in several colors: Ivory White, Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown. Pre-orders in China start on July 2, with a starting price of RMB 8.999. The device will also be available in international markets later this year.
