As we discovered yesterday, the Honor brand will hold a conference on October 13 where it should launch new products including theHonor X40GT. Well, today it was reported that Honor will also be presenting another smartphone at the press conference - the Honor Play 40 Plus.

According to Chinese blogger “Wangzai Knows”, the Honor Play 40 Plus will be equipped with a Dimensity 700 processor, built with TSMC's 7nm process and will be equipped with a 720p high refresh rate 90Hz screen.
In regards to photography, the main camera has been upgraded to a 50 megapixel camera with an aperture of F1.8 and there is a 2 megapixel secondary camera with a 5 megapixel front camera.
While as far as autonomy is concerned, the Honor Play 40 Plus will have an integrated 6000 mAh battery that supports fast charging from 22,5 W.
Additionally, the blogger also released the new phone's camera watermark, this is the first time that Honor uses a camera watermark on a low-end phone. As can be seen from the watermark, the smartphone is equipped with a 50 megapixel main camera.
The Honor Play 40 Plus should have a starting price of 1099 yuan, around 158 euros.
